    enlightenment only impacts cp.

    got exp with enlightened up-

621 regular exp, 2,484 cp exp, because of enlightenment.

    after-

    125,258

125,258-124,637= 621, enlightenment has no impact on the skill.

XP scrolls, XP food, and if there's an XP event buff too; then go into Public Dungeons where there are a lot of mobs packed together with a fairly high respawn rate. The more skills you have on your active bars with the associated weapon will speed up weapon skill up rates.

My favorite choices are Coldharbour, Shadowfen, Rivenspire, Stormhaven, and Reaper's March Public Dungeons, they have a large area that circles around so the mobs respawn by the time you get back around.

No it doesn't, but scrolls do.

If you want to level up a weapon skill faster, slot lots of that weapons skills. Each slotted skill in a Weapon or Class contributes to the overall Weapon or Skill line.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Question for you regarding enlightenment. Since you squared me away that the enlightenment bonus doesn't affect the skill lines (which I admittedly did not realize), and since I'm on console where I can't actually see the raw amount of xp individual skill lines are gaining, can you check something for me.

I seem to recall when having an xp-booster (scroll, ambrosia, event) active, this applied after the enlightenment amount. I'll use the following example:

I do crafting dailies on my main and get roughly 20k xp with enlightenment. If I have a 100% xp booster from an event active, I think it doubles that (20k x 2 = 40k)... am I remembering this correctly? And, if so, would that full extra 20k be applied towards the skill line (5k base xp without enlightenment + 20k from scroll = 25k), or would it only apply 100% of the base xp (5k x 2 = 10k)?

    I'm genuinely curious now, lol.

@Feric51 I am pretty sure enlightenment just quadruples whatever exp you get for the amount of enlightenment you have. So you have a 100% scroll going, you get 10 exp, which becomes 20 and then for enlightenment you get 80. That would make the most sense to me. But I have no way to test that.

Okay, that makes sense. I guess I wasn't considering the order of operations of when the modifiers are inputted.

    [5k (base) x 100% (event modifier) = 10k] x4 (enlightenment) = 40k

Bottom line, my life has been a lie.....

Your math is correct for the Exp Boost and the effect on CPs that are calculated from the Exp earned.

    @Feric51

The booster boosts exp earned, but not crafting inspiration. Enlightenment then 4x the exp earned, boosted or not.

This, note that this is one place dolmen zergs helps at least if its not to many people as its easy to level tanking or healing skills.
Then I converted my magsorc into stamina I used crafting writs and an 150% scroll
Grinding just make you go in circles.

If you combine XP scrolls with enlightenment, your CP does go up faster by both factors, but remember that you're also burning through the enlightenment faster. It's not given for an amount of time, but an amount of CP gain. The XP boost doesn't increase the total benefit from the enlightenment at all.

This is correct, because the daily Enlightenment pool is 400,000 XP. Using an XP boost merely consumes the pool faster.

It would be more productive to not use an XP boost while Enlightenment is active but to save it for the period after Enlightenment has been expended.

Your base XP gain is the same either way.
