So 2 players go for a hero attempt to get the scroll and both get dumpsterd. The game announced the player has picked up the scroll AFTER death and it ends up with him/her at his home base.

✭✭✭✭✭It's a known bug that also happens frequently in battlegrounds. If you kill a player right as he's about to pick up the scroll (or chaosball) he will respawn with the scroll. On your end it looks like he never took the scroll but as you might have seen, that's not the case......
It's a bug, but he never "picked it up" after he died.....
In a BG if you play chaosball, you won't have any visual queues that you're actually carrying the ball, not sure how it works with scrolls1
