Needs to include Arenas before Trials

It's funny how people are so against this idea of a pug group finder when in Craglorn, pug groups are formed everyday for trials. I'm glad I have never except for one time, had the negative experiences y'all have had pugging. All of my pug experiences in Craglorn for trials have been great except for one time. And that was because the tank had no clue how to hold aggro.

I hope they eventually put those into the group finder. I highly doubt the horror stories some people make pugging out to be will be to that extreme. And honestly. If you are so afraid of getting in a bad pug. Nobody is forcing you to use it. Go with your guild/friends. Let those of us who would want it get it.

Initially on PC release they had the old LFG tool which had this option but it never worked.

After VR and the new LFG (activity Finder) with its issues, not sure they'd do it.

I would like a version of this even if the trials were normalized or players were scaled in someways like WoW so it made sense.

Don't see any reason why not.

It would make farming gear a million times easier.

Yes please. It makes zero sense that they aren't part of the finder already.

That's a good point. The current finder is bugged 50% of the time, and that's with just having to match 4 players. Asking for a tool to match 12 players might be asking too much.

For all those worried about fake tanks, it is DPS that I always see PUG trial groups search for in Craglorn, not tanks. 2/3 of slots are DPS. Some normal are fine with 1 tank.

I agree that a big part of this being implemented would come down to the group finder working in the first place....

How is pug’ing through group finder any different from randoms in zone chat or guild? Chances are they are still random

I'm leaning towards yes but maybe it could work like WoW where only Normal difficulty trials are accessible through LFG and Veteran difficulty would be locked behind needing to manually assemble a group

It would only work if the system could filter out fake tanks and healer's. Also if you could set champion point minimums but we all know then that there would be outcries of people being elitists jerk's. There so much to try to work out with a trial finder system.
