Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

So we are going to have random people as class reps now?

Who even chose these people in the first place?

No one even knows these people.

From what I see by googling, a random youtuber(some of whose primary focus is not even ESO to begin with), low mmr pvpers who doesnt know impen exists, bottom tier Pvpers that try to propagate the defensive heavy armor sets over anything else, PvErs who believe 30k dps is the gold standard.

Apart from Nefas, none of the rest seem to have any real top-tier endgame experience.

Are you kidding me, ZOS? You had top tier people applying to a payless voluntary job because of their passion for the game. :/

Why don't you reserve judgement until after they've had a chance to work on their role?

The fact a new class rep is someone who opens defends Pirate Skeleton, some of the OP heavy armor sets and why heavy needs to be better than medium is enough for me.

Talk about a z-term Pvper, lul.

It’s good if there’s a balance between player groups. I don’t want the reps to be neither exclusively top tier players nor potatoes. A nice mixture is good because it helps with perspective.

So z...., excuse me large-scalers being able to influence the game feels like the exact time the game goes downhill.

Not many players do "top tier endgame" anyway.

For representatives to be effective they need to represent as many players as possible. Ideally I wouldn't say some "top tier" experience would be bad. But unfortunately many "top tier" players seem to be dismissive of the concerns of the broader community and are narrowly focused on the latest veteran trial hard mode. That is the only thing that seems to matter to them more often than not.

So I would prefer class representatives not be "top tier" players myself. I'd prefer them to be average and more in-tune with the majority of the player base.

Seems like a lot of people just send hate threads and messages due to being jealous they aren't the ones chosen for the role instead of using the Class REPS for their intended purpose of being a conduit between community and developers. Amazing what would be accomplished if people weren't people.

Yeah and others say the game goes downhill when class reps are solely top tier trial players. As I said, a broad spectrum of perspectives is good for that program.

Why do you think only few players should be responsible for skill ballancing? Everyone has different playstyles.

Ballancing should be done by majority of players. We have forums here. Devs should read our posts and polls, and decide by it

The better players are generally better due to their better understanding and knowledge of them. Which should be a fundamental need for someone that can affect balance.

if you guys think it will allow wider perspective or whatever, it does not work that way. ZOS is cherry picking some particular yesmen, because they didn't like the fact that the previous ones had better opinions of their own and could potentially be mischievous if triggered with stupid decisions.

ESO Community: complains that class reps are elite. Says devs only listen to “famous” streamers and balance things around end game.

Also ESO Community: complains that new class reps are casual and that no one‘s heard of them

We've closed this thread due to its baiting/bashing/non-constructive nature. It’s okay and very normal to disagree with others, debate and even to be frustrated, but provoking conflict, baiting, inciting, mocking, etc. is never acceptable in the official The Elder Scrolls Online community.
