Elsweyr keep crashing

Just bought Elsweyr about a hour ago and already have 2 crashes when just riding around... Start getting into the mind of writing support and demand a refund as you seem to sell a non working product...

    Game consistently crashing (every single time, all my characters I tried) when I ride first time on the character from the Scar's End Wayshrine to Valenwood Gate. It seems like the crash is happening at the position when the Valenwood Gate status changes from unknown to known.

    Game also crashing when entering on the door into the K'har Zhab Hall. Which is quite annoying since that's where Abnur is in the Elsweyr quest line... Did you guys do any Mac client testing at all for Elsweyr???

    Edit: actually don't even have to try to open the door, sometimes enough just walk to it and the game already crashing...

    having the same issue, with any interaction, played absolutely fine yesterday with no issues at all, but for now anything I do other than just move crashes the game. Tried the troubleshooting but that didn't help.

    By the way I found that turning off all my addons did at least get me into the game, skyshards and lore books seem to be ok being enabled.

    I'm crashing a lot lately in Elsweyr. I don't think this has any connection with the 4th 3rd-quarter event, because it's been going on since before the event started.
    I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

    My game keep crashing when resurrecting at Tenmar Temple Wayshrine or port there, or even when just ride nearby, sometimes even right after the crash when I log in it crashes immediately on character login on the wayshrine.

    Seem you have some serious bug with that location, which causes Mac client to crash. Based on evidence it pretty much 100% guaranteed crashing when I die fighting dragons in the weeping scar (southwest) area and resurrect on the Tenmar wayshrine.

    Already sent /bug report on it but posting here as well since I very much doubt anyone actually reading the /bug reports...

    Yeahm ran into that one as well, the main quest giver building where Abnur is crashes the game, did it with one character crashes after crashes, never going to go even near that quest line with any other character, as far as I'm concerned elswyer has no questline.

    What testing was actually done? Stop placing the responsibility of testing the platform on your customers who pay for a production ready product. m'kay?

    Also I found a workaround for these crashes. I managed to play in all regions of elsweyr just fine by silence all audio ingame. I will post after a few days of silent gaming for more results


    Edit: The crash doesnt happen on the EU server at all . weird but its how it is

    Have the exact same issue - I crash randomly in areas around Tenmar Temple Wayshrine (either going there via another wayshrine or riding by in the area).

    It is a complete crash (not hang), the program suddenly and completely force quits entirely.

    This is running Mojave on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro (2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 Processor, 16GB ram, 150GB HD space free), same issue through Steam client and ESO client.

    Running no other programs in back except ESO launcher. Graphical settings on med, most effects already turned off.

    I had 2 of the same type crashes in Riverhold, one while passing the stable, and once near the quest giver house, but have not been able to repeat over a week of play. Tenmar on the other hand, crashes every time I'm in the area without fail (but funnily not always in the same spots, i.e. after I log back in and reappear where I disappeared, I do not crash there until I traverse and crash somewhere else in that area)..

    Anyway, it is an annoying bug. Will edit and post log when it happens again.

    Have not yet crashed in Souther Elyswer.

    Tenmar Temple Wayshrine still crashing, after 1.5 year later. Are you guys ever going to fix this?

    I've been having the exact same issues, and I suspect we all know the answer about whether it is going to be fixed or not. The answer is no, we can report the problems as much as we want but since Mac users are a small minority of players the problems we report go onto the lower priority lists even if those problems routinely cause hard crashes.

    Just adding my two cents that I have experienced precisely the same three crashes as grayearl above for years. I have submitted multiple tickets. I managed to not crash a couple of times during the anniversary event, but I don't recall seeing any patch notes saying they fixed it, so this may have been an outlier.
