can not faction change-working as intended?!?

Are you asking why your DC character can’t change campaigns from the No CP campaign?

i havent been in cyro this campaing on any of my chars.
last campagin i played dc in non cp; this time i wanna play ad.
if you try to log in with ad char you get the message that you first gotta disband the campaign on other alliance chars (as home campaign).
to do that you obviously have to log on your DC character which are ALL in cyrodil.
so when i log to them i get auto locked for 30day non cp...
as long they dont move them out of cyro basically i am unable to play AD while not being faction locked to DC for this campaign; just that i can not disband 30 day non cp campaign as home campaign

In order to switch, you must move all your characters out of Cyrodiil before the end of the campaign.

Then, you will again get the warning about faction lock when you try to log into Cyrodiil the next time.

If you leave your characters logged in inside Cyrodiil, the game assumes (not entirely unreasonably) that you want to continue playing for that alliance in Cyrodiil and you will be faction locked. ZOS intends to change that eventually, but hasnt yet, so until they do, move all your characters out of Cyrodiil at campaign's end if you want to swap.

Sounds like your SOL for the next 30 days. At least get those characters out of there before the start of the next campaign.

This explanation is what should have been in the OP. It still seems to be missing something.

Zos is aware there is an issue. They failed to test the new system for changing at the end of a campaign in the last PTS. management failure as that could have been tested on their private test server.

However, they have no idea when they will have a fix and as Varanis has stated, you need to move all of your characters out before the end of the campaign to change.

This is the way it is and I doubt anything will come of your ticket.

it should be possible as it says locked to DC while chara XY is assigned to this campaign.
and if i can change remove this home campaign it should work; atleast guildies tell me it worked for them...

They probably moved their characters then changed faction assignment.

However, if Zos can/will do something they are not going to know what you are talking about as OP does not make sense due to the significant lack of information.

For the sake of anyone in your situation, what was the solution?

ZOS logged your characters out of Cyrodiil so you could enter and lock in the faction you wanted?

yea, basically i had to Abandon Campaign and cancel home Campaign on all DC Chars. If you are lucky and there is a Queue for DC or whichever faction you dont want to be, you dont Need to go the way i had to. basically no cp is never locked with Queue on pc eu unless you wanna zerg on ep xD
as soon as you port into cyro with the wrong char, the whole Thing doesnt work. just works if you havent been on any of your DC Chars during the new Campaign
