[Stealth] Anyone running Stealth Radius -6 to -9 meters and how good is it in Heists/Sacraments

Presently I have a Khajiit (-3m) with Darloc Brae's (-2m) and Night Terror (-2m) and Improved Sneak (-35%)
Thinking of switching to Night Mother (-2m), Night Terror 3/5 (-2m), and Darloc's 4/5 (-2m). 7-pc Medium means Improved Sneak (-49%)
Is the added radius better than trying to keep up Shadow Cloak with Darloc Brae's magicka refresh?
What is the detection radius and is there a magic number that will let me sneak and be undetected even if they walk into me?

✭✭✭✭✭You are virtually invisible. Forget Cloak. With 4 stealth bonus, you have negative detecting radius.2 -

✭✭✭Hmm it looks like different creatures have different detects.- At -9m/-49% I could literally crouch-walk into an Alit and nothing happens.
- But when I try to do the same with a hostile human bandit near Suran, they aggro'ed immediately.
- I stand in front of a Guard and walk right into them and I don't lose Hidden status, but if a neutral human in town walks into me, pushing me aside, then they Detect me.

✭✭✭✭✭There used to be a hard cap on stealth radius when both Bosmer and Khajiit had the Stealthy passive. One stealth set, plus the racial and 49% med armor passive gave you maximum stealth, and adding any more sets was redundant. But when they redid the racials, they eliminated the hard cap and now you can stack (with 3 sets, on a Khajiit) up to virtual invisibility. Any other race with 3 sets and med armor passive can get close, but still not equal to Khajiit.0 -

I think this is true, and I also think it's very buggy as well. I can bump up against a major Undaunted dungeon boss and not be seen, but trying to sneak by trash Durzogs in the same dungeon can end up in a fight sometimes.

this one use -9.
was seen only by
centry
all sort of traps
sometimes by guard with torch in they POV (bosmers may be)
after bad pickpoket.
in some pvp zones (this one do not understand why), be there once or twice.
this one with -9 cannot do all clearly. in places with centry this one can do nothing...0 -

* Craft 5 Nights Silence, run in stealth
* Night Terror 3 items for -2m detect
* Vesture of Darloc Brae 4 items for -2m detect
* Khajit passive -3m
Even -7 m with run speed is very good. In sacraments I have run into NPC's, or used them to jump off (like a rock) as long as they are facing the other way and I don't get detected.0 -
spekdah✭✭✭Also with the gear you can buy it all very cheap, as it's sacraments and heists you don't need favourable traits as you are avoiding combat anyway. You could run it green/blue. Use AlphaGear addon if on PC to easily switch to your stealth setup.
You can use it to get most of the the books/skyshards in Cyrodil too if just soloing/slow day. Know one will ever see you.0 -

I might have to test that jumping off NPCs!
I went with Vampire Khajiit MagBlade so I got my run in stealth for free allowing me to go -9m because I didn't need a set for that.Edited by Dusk_Coven on July 22, 2019 3:42AM0
