Why can't hard mode in vet trials be reversed?

I was doing vet HRC pug and someone activated hard mode. Now we can't finish the final boss. Why is it even designed this way in the first place?

You can reverse HM in all but crag trials.
I think it'd benefit them to take the time to make those reversible as well. You're more likely to pug crags and get someone who doesn't know and just smashes HM triggers, or potential trolls.

Either make it reversal or add a check where X amount of people have to agree to do HM before it activates. We've had a few knob pugs trigger it on us, we kick them but they've had their laugh and we're stuck depending on the group. It's a pretty big oversight.

Yes it should be easy to fix outside of AA there they have to move it to last boss.
And its an issue, way more people might want to do HM on the craglorn trials than the later ones and it would be way more popular if it worked like dungeons there you could give HM a couple of tries and then do standard if it did not work.
