Respectfully disagree- to the degree that those points are true I think they reflect players entering cyrodiil who really should be entering battlegrounds instead. They are different experiences that appeal to people who want different things.

This thread is for the players who do not want that cyrodiil becomes a giant BG map.

From this observation, we can say cyrodiil in 2019 is far from the idea we had to play the 3 banner's war in the first years of TESO.
Maybe Zenimax should now think about how to make Cyrodiil better, for real.

People do care about the score, I´ve observed all sides and group play and truth be told, all the latest wins went to the side that had very much vocal people playing for the map & score. Was same on Kaalgrontiid and Bahlokdaan PC EU.

Of course now some say that "X alliance has nightcap zerglings so they win.." but, observation did show that those sides also had plenty of people actively playing for the score and thus making others excited about it too, so there suddenly IS people around the clock, because of wanting to win when it feels fun and a goal that many share.

If one realizes that are in an alliance where there are mainly AP farming groups that do not give beep about score, then yeah.. trying to win can be hard when there are not enough excited pugs when there are enemy pugs getting ready to storm the map.

Lately it really been feeling that the side wanting to win really wins. Kaalgrontiid was a good example. EP did try to maintain the score lead with the typical nightcapping.. yet DC did rise to win by just clearly wanting it and working for it so they suddenly had people up at night too to stop the nightcapping and doing some of their own.

But i do agree on the mg sieging heh.. people try that stubbornly even when keep is fully defended.

The best way for ZOS to bring Cyrodiil back to an ideal AvAvA game is simply to fix the performancce issues and the lag.

On PC/NA Kaalgrontiid, lots of players want to fight for important objectives - exactly the sort of large battles that Cyrodiil is designed by its nature to create. And what happens? We lag, we crash, we can't use our skills, we can't PVP because the servers can't handle Cyrodiil as designed.

this is the same on PC EU Bahlokdaan at primetime.
But during the rest of the time, in cyrodiil, people only fight for AP and fun. Nobody care about the map and scores. points are made during day by the nightcaped scrolls, that's all.
