So I'm currently locked with A.D and have friends who joined E.P. I want to play with them but obviously can't due to the faction lock. Will the lock be auto renewed upon the 30 end or will I have to abandon the campaign and sacrifice 100k ap?

    Yes, you can choose another faction at the start of the new campaign.

    If one of your characters is logged into cyrodiil when the reset happens then you get automatically locked into the same faction you were last campaign.

    So be aware of that.

    You will have to pay 100k to abandon the campaign.

    And have to wait 12 hours before re-homing another but you can still enter it, on the faction of your choice.

    I logged out of Cyrodill back to Reapers Marsh just prior to the campaign ending on the 30 day No CP. When I tried to abandon the campaign so I could play another faction for the next 30 day campaign I have to pay 100k gold of 100k alliance points to do it. ZOS end this bull crap faction lock that the majority of players did not want yet you shoved it down our throats because of the whiners in this game. It has gotten old.

    Not only faction lock but a 100k AP fee for changing factions AFTER 30 days. What a great idea.
