There is a place for BR in some games, but ESO IS NOT one of them.

It's quite simple.

No CP
Same stats.
Random Gear sets to find.
Map gets smaller.

Won’t be able to switch gear due to stuck in combat but
Map will probably bug out and not even show itself getting smaller
God knows how many more bugs will show up.
Not only Is Br a bad idea, but zos is heavily incapable of implementing anything without adding a plethora of bugs with it

Don't you normally start without gear in BR games? Won't your build depend on the gear and armor you can find? You start naked right, you aren't going to start with your gear on? So it should be very easy to balance things like tank build by omitting sets, limiting gear levels, or making certain item times unavailable

You can build an battle royal mode without loot imo. You don’t have to copy the fps mechanics.
Battle Royale refers imo to one huge zone with a lot of players and last man standing gameplay.
They can even use some of the already existing zones as battle Royale battleground.

To all the people asking for this please just go back to Fortnite or Apex or whatever other trash that has this game mode and play it there. We don’t need Battle Royale in a game like this, we never needed it and we never will need it. What we want is for ZOS to fix the problems which currently plague the game (performance issues being the main issue) so we can continue to enjoy what got us into this game in the first place, fun quick paced combat with plenty of fun solo and group content within the Elder Scrolls universe.

just stop, a game you like playing has battler royal, that doesnt mean everything needs battle royale, especailly when you have multiple games dedicated to battle royal and that experience. So go play apex or fortnite if that is what you so obviously want to play.

Players have given multiple examples of why they hate it.

ZOS would be better served fixing performance and bugs in the PvP modes they have, rather than instituting a new one.

It wouldn’t hurt to remove faction locks and Daedric weapons too. Enough contentious issues exist in PvP as it is. Why add things when they should be fixing things instead of creating new broken things.

They canceled Mid-Year for Christ sakes. Who in their right mind, that actually ENJOYS PVP, would actually advocate ZOS adding Battle Royal?

Because it’s STUPID. You’d probably get mopped anyways, running around basically not even in a build to start.

The beauty of ESO combat is BUILDS, not some generic bastardized dumbed down noob fight. Just go play fortnite or something...if you want to play checkers instead of chess.
