I think it's good where it is but for some reason you did not include that as a vote option.

Sometimes after performing a Critical Charge, the target seems to be just a tad out of range of light/heavy attacks, I swing and hit nothing and that annoys me to no end. I get it I have to move up a little after using the gap closer to make it hit, but it shouldn't be. Either change Critical Charge to close enough distance that a normal swing can still hit a stationary target or increase the range of the swing so it does. The speed itself is no biggie.

does light attack speed matter? You shoot it once per second as weaving anyway. This sounds like it is for light attack spammers which isn't a playstyle that should be encouraged.

i didn't understand that set that increases the light attack speed either. What does it do? Allows u to hit two light attacks in a single weaving gcd?

heavy attack speed sounds better imo, shorten the channel for same effect

You mean Blood Moon? That set is mainly intended for werewolves, where you're meant to just spam light attacks.

It can't be improved until they fix the animation system. Because "instant" skills like light attacks and most abilities are coded to deal damage the moment you press a button / click your mouse (rather than at a specific point in an animation, like a good combat animation system would use), animators are forced to create attack animations that connect with enemies as quickly as possible, otherwise you'll notice that damage is being dealt before the attack visually connects (very noticeable with the bizarre way their animation cancelling system works for example). That means it's impossible to create a 2H animation with any kind of "heft" and "weight" behind the swing, without creating a visual disconnect with the damage being dealt. 2H weapons therefore have to swing instantly, as though they're made of paper, and all the "heft" and "weight" part of the animation has to be added to the end of the swing to pad out the animation length, which is why it looks so silly - we just saw our character swing their weapon like it weighed nothing at all, but now they're pretending it's heavy, and if it was heavy this is also the point where you'd use the momentum from the swing to flow into the next attack, not leave it hanging at your side.

Man, this game has such an awful combat animation system it hurts sometimes...

Doesn't matter because the dmg is instant and you cancel the animation 99% of the time.

Actually 2H weapons weren't slow at all, it would be stupefor a weapon. If they are significantly slower than other weapons, you'd basically never win a fight with them.
Axes (and even warhammers/maces) for example were much lighter than equally sized woodcutting variants. The whole heavy and slow image of such weapons is just a pop culture thing.
Dane Axes for instance were so thin at the middle of their blade, that rust created a huge hole there on most surviving examples.

    *5-7 ESO-meters, so basically 1-2 actual meters. :D

True, scales are totally off in ESO. There is this "meter" AND artificial environmental features (ships, buildings, furniture,...) are oversized compared to characters.

The reason I posted this is that I love 2handed. Duel wield is cool but I love 2handed. Everyone that plays with me thinks I'm a mag. I don't play a lot of pvp but pve. 2handed is clunky, jerky and a train wreck for pve ( on console ). Especially when trying to animation cancel with light attacks. It's not like duel wield, not even close. It feels like the difference between a Corvette and a boat. They're trying but without success ( in my opinion) bc it isn't smooth and reliable feeling. Bc of pvp ( it seems in my opinion) I will not be getting a viable endgame 2hander that doesn't feel like a boat. RIP the dream, lol.
