Transmute Quality of Life Improvement

As a PvP player (mag templar) there are countless of options/combinations for open world PvP gear wise. Personally I love to test everything but this requires that in order to reach certain thresholds (sustain wise) on my builds I need to change jewellery traits a lot.

Therefore I had the following idea: Once you transmute a certain piece of jewellery lets say from arcane to infused you get an select window to choose between the two traits on that piece of jewellery. So the more traits you transmute per piece the more trait options you get for that piece.

What do you guys think?

You are right that is an option. But like I said there are so many set combinations and inventory/bank space is still a thing in ESO. So that option is limited.

Or they can just increase the size of the amount of crystals you can carry....basically what everyone wants....
Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.

    I like it.

You should be able to change traits out of combat on legendary gear, make the investment worth it.

How about if an item has been transmuted, it only costs 10 crystals the second, third, fourth... time? In that scenario, the player has already done the grinding for gear and transmute crystals for that particular piece.

Then there would be no transmute SINK!!! my boy... you know before faction lock we could at least get 150 transmute crystals every 30 days....those were the times myboy.. those were the times...

The only transmute QoL change I want is an increased cap. I don’t want to know how much geodes I had to destroy on several characters. And yes, even golden ones. All of them.

Well ZOS won't increase transmute crystal capacity because that's an ESO Plus subscription perk.

It would be nice to be able to swap traits freely once you already "researched transmutation" on that item before. Like if you transmuted from sharp to precise then powered, any three of those are interchangeable. To make up for the "drawbacks" the cost of transmuting increases by 50 for each new trait transmutation; in this case transmuting to decisive would cost 150...

An awesome idea but dead at birth because transmute sink, like LuxLunae said, and because it would mean extra work from Devs, in a difficult period where they have to add content every 3 months and try to resolve server problems

I dont think i'm being pessimist, just realist xD i would love them to add that feature

Lucky me that i have 15 chars in the same faction! But maybe lock faction doesn't work as intended and they revert it (although i personally prefer lock faction)

They could just make it so that the geodes can be sold in guild stores.

You want more crystals buy unwanted geodes off of players listing their excess ones.

PVP players get a new source of gold income just from playing the game the way they want and all players with gold to spend get to speed up re-traiting the gear they want to use.

Maybe the Dev team will be more inclined to pay attention to a new thread, as opposed to necro'ing one from July 2019...
