Such a broad question. It really depends what you mean by meta. The build meta, the group meta, the playstyle meta. I personally don't mind a tanky meta because I enjoy a higher TTK, but I also don't enjoy endless fights. CP can have OP broken builds, and no CP fights can end in an instant, especially if outnumbered. I want a high TTK, but with less rubberbanding of health bars. It adds tension to the fights when health hovers between 33% and 66%. Most of the time I feel like health is at 100% or 0%, and that is mainly because high damage and over healing.

First. I play PvP very moderately. Always no-cp, mostly BG and sometimes Cyrodiil for end of campaign rewards. I may be in a "low MMR" bracket, and this probably influences the meta in my matches. I'm decent at dueling, and alliance rank ~21.

So far I don't have real issues in PvP, I just play it in a very seasonal/casual way.

I like pvp but it needs some tunings that they are achieving in the last time i would say. I think they are "starting" to really put energies in try to balance pve and pvp in the right direction. I have the impression it took time to zos to find the identity of the game in terms of balance and it seems that now they know more and more in which direction they have to go and what they should change.

I have to say i like only to do battlegrounds. I don't like Cirodill because for me is simply not fun. I also don't like CP points pvp and i would like the option to do duels without CP.

In battleground i see the typic problems any others mmo have. Like unfair matching, overpower builds, etc. There are days for me that are totally frustrating and days where i find myself.

I think the build is very important and the skills and the matching to enjoy pvp. If your doing it wrong then you just die and don't enjoy pvp.

I would like to see a rewamped Cirodill. I would try to make something more direct, confrontative and maybe in small scale.

I'm kind of lying. I have enjoyed PvP casually on occasion. I just don't think PvP belongs in RPGs because balancing for pvp messes up pve and vice versa. I prefer to pvp in games made for pvp, like Overwatch or Halo.

Wrecking blow hits harder than most ults (and us getting buffed next patch), goliath bash and Harmony jewellery self synergise necro ulti dump builds are ridiculously over powered and require no skill and dedicated healers are more prevalent than ever. To top it all off lag is worse than ever and will probably continue going downhill next update, if only there was another decent mmo on console.

Looked at builds of Delta. Alcast, Fengrush, Xynode and a few others for inspiration.
I can be surprised how well some skills/armor /weapons function together, already changing things of 'my' current build because of the upcoming patch.
Props for those guys that take a lot of effort in experimenting and publishing their ideas with some pretty nice 'out of the box' thinking, (e.g. Xynode). On my own I'd probably get narrow-minded about certain skills armor and weapons.

The thing that makes it a challenge are those pieces found it trials and (DLC) dungeons.
Most of the time I can't play continuously, due to IRL circumstances. So trials and dungeons are (mostly) a no go, can't leave the team halfway completion.
In PvP I can retreat and leave for a bit whenever I want to.
My QoL would be if I could buy those sets with AP.

I'd totally love to do dungeons and trials btw. Yes I love PvP, but I enjoy the teamwork in PvE as well.

It was tolerable until they started abusing AoE. They need to do something about that.

I think the Meta is great, it's the best Meta I have ever seen, and I look forward to the Meta every time I turn on my machine.
