I have the Nvidia 3-d glasses and use them when doing writ map collecting and staring at the trees and sky, I tryed doing 3D when fighting and entered 'cookie toss' mode.
Just wonder if there is true VR setup out there that works well...
BTW eso in 3D even w/ only glasses is cool.

Nope not at this point, prob because there is not a huge demand to provide in game support for such a feature.
I don't know of a VR setup built into in any MMO currently come to think of it.

Only thing that's 'OFF' in 3D mode is water reflections. The big problem will be not seeing keyboard and doing gamepad setup will be tough.

Head movements don't match up w/ game, and is this 3D or just vr headset w/ 2D screen?

I have an Oculus Rift, and I've played ESO using VorpX. It's a pretty amazing experience, especially if you're into immersion. I wouldn't try to run a dungeon in VR mode, but for just running around the world it's awesome.

Vanilla Skyrim looks like crap in VR though, and a lot of the most popular mods don't work. Plus I'd rather mess with Vorpx than go down the modding rabbit hole again.

ESO is tough to play in VR. You can do a lot of things with the Touch controllers, but the UI just isn't built for VR, too much menu navigation. But it's an absolutely beautiful environment to just run around in. Wandering around Clockwork City is a trip. You really get a feel for the sheer scale of everything that just doesn't translate in 2D.

If you want a game that doesn't look too bad, and is actually playable, Fallout4 is a good compromise. The settlement building system is especially fun in VR. Also, jetpack equipped power armor... >.>

I think Skyrim in VR is awesome, even Vanilla. there are also a lot of VR mods out there that improve it quite a bit.

VR is in its early days and most games won't provide VR support. Modded experiences will be hit and miss (using 3rd party programs).

You'll only see games that were either made for VR (low to medium budget) or are huge franchises like Skyrim or Fallout where the company is printing money by re-releasing the same game again & again for different platforms.

For an MMO its extremely unlikely it will get an official VR version. Not enough of an audience to justify the cost.

Unlike already finished games like Skyrim and Fallout where they can shoot out a VR version & be done, MMOs are constantly being updated. This means that the VR support would have to continue to be developed to make sure it doesn't break and new features would work in VR as well. Similar to how Zenimax already has to make sure to keep supporting controllers for consoles.

Seconded I love it - but you need a top end gfx card to avoid the lag

If you go into PvP with VR you'll have a stroke.

    VR lag?

It's just nauseating. The view is warped and doesn't really fill the screen properly. Kind of overly zoomed in. It's cool to try out, but I haven't touched it in months.
