That is my actual gaming rig for ESO, and performance still sucks.
they really need to cut the number of players in half in each camp and add one or two more. At least til they figure out what is wrong, which will probably be never. I cant play in the 30 day camp on xbox because there is too many people causing way, way, to much lag. Its literally unplayable unless you're in a 100 man zerg button mashing and you cant realize half your skills arent working. Strategic competitive play is out of the question, especially solo.. The 7 day its usually alright until you come across a massive zerg.
The only real way they will ever fix performance is to put something in the game that de-incentives people to ball up in massive zergs. Im talking 150 player fights that make the game absolutely unplayable. idk if thats cutting down group sizes or debuffing people based on how many friendlies are around. Idk the answer.
But the one I do know is that the performance issues are caused by a lot of players in one zone, and a lot of players in one area. Any zone in this game with a lot of people, such as capitol cities and event zones, will lag. But it will always shine most in cyrodil because you have a ton of people fighting in one zone and many of those people in massive zergs of 100+ people fighting other massive zergs.
It gets to the point where I cant even fight a small group of 2-3 people because their alliance is zerging the keep with 100 people, and the lag is so bad I cannot play. Until zos decides to actually invest some money into pinpointing the issue, which is most likely something wrong with their server, the game will always be this way. So in the meantime they need to do something even if that something is a little weird.

I can't even imagine what the PVP peeps are going through right now.

Yes ZOS needs to sort things however the issue is also he players they don't WANT to spread out.
The same folks are right now complaining about faction lock, AND lag in 30 day CP. Yet they could switch to 7day and have both problems answered.
Folks don't like change and hide behind the 'its dead' line - of all the people saying that switched and committed it would be pumping in there. But hey ***.
My tip, go to IC, no lag.
That I can't PvP in this game on Saturday or Sunday at all. I also can't PvP on Friday nights or at primetime Monday-Thursday.

Have you tried the campaigns that arent jammed? Basically any of them that arent the 30 day.
