QOL Improvement for trial leads: Mob icons

I'm ripping a page out of other MMOs but this would be a huge quality of life improvement to running a trial. Currently its a little chaotic and with the nerf to AOE dmg, it would be beneficial for the lead and/or main tank. The idea is to tag mobs with an icon and describing the kill order. Similar to the below

So what do you all think, would this be a welcomed QOL improvement to the game?

    1) this wouldnt help anyone - aside from graphics card manufacturers
    2) if tanks dont know which add's to pull then they shouldnt be tanks - or havent done their learning in the "normal" versions of trials/dungons
    3) it would clog an already crowded screen

im all for ideas , but this really doesnt help anything or anyone.

I don't understand 1. On 2, I think you're missing the point; in numerous vet trials add phases will occur for example the 3rd add phase Nahviintaas where the kill order matters or add phase during Lokkestiiz. Saying "kill clockwise" or "kill X first" seems more of a clog over mic vs. simply laying out the kill order and going from there. 3. Speak for yourself, my screen is pretty clean

Edit: My suggestion has absolutely nothing to do with a pull order but a kill order. A dps order. It's not to help the tank prioritize anything, its to prioritize kill order when add phases spawn and kill order matters.

raid markers are like 101 raid organization tools...

their non-existance in ESO has been a huge pain in the ass since forever, even when we have a full discord comms group to compensate.

Learning doesn't need to, and imo shouldn't, only be done in normal versions. This would be a good learning tool for players who are practicing while learning content.

If they did a tagging system at all I'd rather it be something what FFXIV has, where the tank has the ability to tag things themself to show priority to the rest of the group. Part of the fun in being a tank is being the lead and making those calls, what you're describing takes that role away and turns tanking into just being a mindless meatshield.

ok so allow me to clarify Whats being poposed here is markers to help the tank prioritise.

    My response is WHY?

I can see why it might make a tank's life easier. Sure. but actually, my response to that is "learn to play!" - you should KNOW what to pull as a tank. this is learnt by doing the normal versions of dungeons and indeed learning the v-versions

if you had this facility , where would it stop? priority for DPS? - all you'd end up with is fights being very very mundane because everyone would just be doing it "by the book" - learning mechs and fights would eventually go out of the window

    its a bad idea.

prioritisation is done by good communication, we have that already because we have voice chat. this is an MMO - its not "kill everything in a certain order by ZOS standards"

i dont say lightly cos im a console pleb and therefore we have dont have any luxury - but come on people...

The game already tells you who to kill first out of the mobs. Its usually the really tall guy in a robe that is shooting fire out of his hands or the other really tall guy in a robe that is shooting lightning out of his hands. Occasionally, it is the troll who is giving everyone AIDS. And if you have Elsweyr, its the really tall cat-person backhanding you, then the one who is turning red.

    exactly this

in 99% of the dungeons in this game it is Mage first, everyone else second.
