Faction stacking

Now, now on EU Bahklodaan last night it was 1 pip each when we retook much of the territory DC's superior numbers had siezed earlier in the day. And it was mostly folks I recogized from daytime play who apparently found it annoying to log in to see how thing had settled out, see that we had no scrolls or castles, and DC was still assiduously retaking BB and BM resources. 10 castles, 2 outposts, and 6 scrolls later it was easier to rest. ;) Thanks, by the way, to the DC folks who didn't bother to repair the Fare inner. It gave us a nice little boost early on.

It is clear by now that ESO and PvP are not working that smoothly. The constant crash is pulling people away from the game. But what's most sadly is the fact that in NA CP campaign eh EP and DC faction stacking against AD is dropping several players from areas. I believe the crashes are random, but when you have two factions against one, even if the numbers are equally disconnected you still have two factions against 1. And in my honest opinion this is a really... REALLY poor way to win a campaign.

    FACTION STACKING!!!!

103k TICK abcess got dropped so sad for him... and that freking RED WALL OF DEATH THAT EXTENDS INTO THE HEAVENS!!! I GOT VID OF IT EVERY TIME EP FACTION STACKS!!!

Most of the time it's DC and EP stacking up on AD. I don't know how many times I've looked at the map and seen the Northern regions divided right down the middle while AD catches all kinds of hell from both alliances. There's been a lot of times I just gave up in disgust.

People still see AD as a bunch of noobs... why fight each other when you can farm noobs for a 1 v x vid?

Yeah, stacking will often occur especially against the alliance that is winning.

In No-CP this weekend, DC is ahead of EP by a few thousand points on the campaign score, so they are ruthless in trying to take as many keeps away from them to take first place.

DC also happened to have Emperor, so now the AD groups are hitting DC from the south in order to De-Emp.

Both factions were being strategic and logical in taking the best course of action in order to overthrow the alliance that was currently winning. DC was stuck all night getting hit hard by EP at Bleakers and Aleswell and by AD at Nikel and Ash... it's part of the game.

Do you play Battlegrounds? When you're playing Domination or Crazy King and one team has 400+ score compared to the other 2 and is likely going to win, naturally the two other teams are going to try and cut out that leading team by denying them any flags in hopes of coming back to win.

I don't know why people are complaining about basic strategy when they are the alliance getting "stacked." Be thankful you don't have to travel too far in order to find fights.

What is this AvAvA you speak of? I count 6 factions: blue, yellow, red, green, orange and purple.

If Faregyl is taken and DC is attacking Black Boot you can bet your sweet bippy my EP group is going to take Bloodmayne.
Why? To beat DC to the Mnem scroll, not to help DC.

    More seriously...

Many guilds that ran smaller groups have been torn apart by faction locks and now can't muster a decent group on any faction. That was a buff to random zerging and ad hoc pugging.

When you add in guilds that deliberately stack large numbers, the lag waves that wash over the whole map when X ball group is farming the roof at X keep, and the performance-sucking nightmare that is the Hammer spawn, you are lucky if all the players render let alone red circles and your ult or heals casting when you need them.

Which means people stack more and build tankier, and inevitably everyone takes a turn on the receiving end of green/orange/purple.

Has nothing to do with factions locks, It is how AvAvA has always played.
The attacked alliance will always complain the other 2 are against them, and guess what they are right.

Just a guess; but based on the patch notes on, "Reduced the number of hostiles at the base of the Stitches to improve performance." the engine or the build seems to have issues having too many dynamic objects on the screen at once. In Cyrodiil, its even worse; you have player objects, world objects, and so on. I have no proof at all to back this up other than looking for patterns. I will always disconnect (or hard crash) in Cyrodiil when its zerg vs. zerg.

Funny on EP we see DC and AD stacking against us. lmao
It is a matter of perspective.

It is always this, people see they are getting rolled and assume everyone is working together. The only thing I have seen recently may have been when DC took the AD Offensive scroll last night and the DC guy dropped it into Farregut(maybe black boot, it was late) as the keep was flipping red and let Dracarys have it free, that was some teamwork there.
