Suggestions to both the Game and the Forum

Perhaps I'm just not seeing an area to post this in, but there seriously needs to be a truly open discussion part of the forum about the game and game suggestions; without having to delve further and further into game specifics (like different factions and so on).

Anyway! I just wanted to ask a few questions and make a few suggestions that would improve the gaming experience, in my personal opinion.

Questions:
~ Why is there no global market/auction house? The reason I ask this is because there is a limit on how large a guild can be, which is only 500 members. For those interested in markets within MMO's this is extremely restrictive. Currently 4 out of 5 of my guilds I am only a part of because I wanted an expansive market.

I understand there is an issue with Economics when it comes to markets, but they still exist within this form of auctioneering items, just on a smaller scale. This is leading to the creation of Out-Of-Game websites and forums that provide a more Auction-like system. If people are that desperate to have an Auction House, then why not place it in the game?

Suggestions:
~ I've spoken to a number of people about this, and it seems to be a unanimous answer. The limitation of our number of abilities/attacks.

When I first heard about there being a limit on the number we could use at any given time, I found it to be a fantastic idea. Other MMO's which seem to have an endless amount of abilities and attacks on-screen at all times look and feel cluttered. But having limiting us to only 5, plus one ultimate is too limiting.

Everyone I've spoken to is having an extremely difficult time choosing what to do, and it offers too little strategy when in a fight. 10:1 (attacks to Ultimate) may be a bit too much to ask for, but even 8 would be nice.

I am aware that at lvl 15 we can have another full set of abilities, but if we want to ever change our weapons (lets say from close combat to ranged), we are still limited to 5 abilities.

~ The same issue could be applied to Potions. It is extremely difficult to use potions with the Q button only. I believe it would be easier, without being overpowered, to allow us an option to place at least three "Q-like" buttons for us to place a health potion, Magic Potion, and Stamina Potion in.

May I ask why you've decided to limit both of these options?

You may ask, but you probably won't get an answer. :)

agree with the potions though. should be 1 for each pot.

if they increased skill slots I hope it would be to 6/7, not any higher. For me now, 5 s enough. make you character more unique from other players, because if we could all chose every skill we'd all end up using the same builds.
Who has time? But if we never take time how can we ever have time?

Nah, you can actually set the same weapon to both sets and just select different abilities for each of them. That way you'll have 10+2 abilities which is more than enough considering the fact that unlike many other MMOs in ESO all of the abilities are actually useful.

Really? How can you have to same weapon in both sets? I know the Tool Tip says you can on the loading screen but when you try it it gives an error code.

Anyone been able to actually place the same weapon in both slots? Because that would be helpful.

It is NOT same weapon on both slots, but the same type of weapon in both.

For example, one must have two maces -- one mace per slot. Thus, one can used the same skill line (but different skills in the line) on the two hot bars.

The only thing I can remember the ESO team specifically saying about the AH is this:

"You don't necessarily want to do a global auction house for a game with one giant server because that generally leads to all the best gear being available at very, very cheap prices," Gameplay Designer Nick Konkle told Shoddycast last fall (via Massively). "A lot of times that can trivialize the game. You cannot have a healthy economy when there are no restrictions on getting the best stuff in the game."

As someone else suggested, I would /feedback anything that you think would be an improvement to the game.

I want search by name option!

There is some general consensus here...and maybe SOME form of networking, like a place within Cyrodiil where you can access all the guild stores currently available in that particular server.

Well they need to change the 'Carrying two of the same weapon' thing, and just make it so you can switch up skills but have the same weapon in both slots.

Also the worries with the AH. Split it up into factions, that reduces it down into 3 parts. Limit your bank space and mailing to only the same faction and not account.

Phase the AH, so when you log in you a put into the first available AH. Each AH can have a maximum of 2000 listings. If you don't post anything next time you log in maybe your AH changes to a different one. If you do post however, no matter if you log in or not you are tied to the AH where you have posted items and cannot change until they are sold/expire and you log in and out again.

Now I am no programmer and I am not sure how feasible this is. But they have instanced housing, so why not instanced AH.
