Baandari preview crates/pets

Random rewards are really iffy. Would be better if you instead enabled people to choose what pet they wanted instead of just giving out a random one. I got the pony, really dislike it, would have rather had the spider instead. Guildies got the spider, hated it, would have liked a pony ... You see where this is going?

Seeing as we got rewarded a random of the 4 pets, could you at least make the pets buyable with crowns at some point, so people can buy those of the pets they wanted, and didn't get in the crate.

that is what those crown gems are for, so you can eventually pick what you want.

The preview pets are not part of the Bandaari Crowns though. I got the spider and... didn’t want it.

This is entirely unrelated. The pets are not from the regular crates, and cannot be bought with gems. Please do more research before posting on topics.

I'm still hoping they'll show up eventually...I got the spider, but I would have preferred the senche (or really any of the animals).

I don’t like Khajiit stuff normally, but a dwarven spider carrying my luggage would have been great. I guess I’m skipping this. Boo Zos. 😟

Yeah, I was really disappointed when the Baandari Pedlar Pack pets didn't show up in the Baandari Pedlar Crown Crates. I was hoping to collect the whole set of them.

I am bummed the pets are not in the crates. Not really a preview crate if the two boxes don't contain the same options at loot.

Yes, this rather surprised me as well. It shouldn't have. It's not like this is the first time marketing has been very misleading in this game. Bankers not being full-function bankers. Outfit slots not being account wide. Neither of which is transparently indicated in the crown store descriptions. And now, preview crates that are not actually previews of content that is in the season they correspond to. Makes me wonder what's next?

Damn can’t even have an opinion on liking or not liking a specific creature in a fantasy world now without whiteknights showing up?
Unbelievable can’t dislike any thing any more (let’s face it some point literally everything on the face of Nirn will have been a daily reward at some point)

Also can people not wish that the alternative pets were made available for purchase? I.e. the whole point of this thread.

Same! Where the heck are they ZOS? If we can't win them we want to buy them. You're missing out on us buying more crowns to get them.

If you don't want us collecting too many mounts, pets, mementos ect fine put them all in coffers and let us trade them in AND/OR gift them to friends if we don't want them.

First, the fact that Baandari preview crates were called this misleading way suggests their loot table would be included in the eponymous crates. Some people might buy the crates to get the pets without noticing the pets aren't included. This is borderline false advertising, and while I know that Beth isn't ZOS, they are still under the same umbrella company, and they really don't need that kind of brand image after the canvas bag fiasco or the limited time offers disappearing before the timer ends in Blades...

Second, for collectors, I really hope the Baandari pets will be made available through another way, for example through direct purchase. Even just for house decorators, it'd be useful to have more than one, to populate a Baandari campsite, for example.
Similarly, I hope the Frostbane pets will come back some day down the line.

I got the wolf cub and I really like the wolf cub, but I would like some way of getting the senche cub, too.

Next time you walk into a store and innocently ask if they are going to get the things they previously had in the store (and that you got a free sample of) back in stock, so you can buy them, I hope you're ready to be told you're "entitled"?

Isn't "entitlement" demanding something for basically free? How is asking to *BUY* the pets "entitlement"?

I have bought a few of the horses. I have many more *senches* than horses. All the senches but the radiant apex ones that are governed by the Gremlins of RNG. I bought all the cat/senche pets. I ended up with the Bandaari pony. While the pony could be lunch for the other pets and many of the mounts, I would much prefer the Bandaari Senche to complete the feline/cat/senche theme.....

Yea I was that sucker...

I wasted around 2000 crowns on 5 crates or so and then spent 750k gold in game for another 15. After I finished opening 20 I googled the drop rate as I was willing to drop another few million gold on crates and I realized it was bait and switch.

I could of sold my 2000 crowns and kept my 750k and saved 1.15M or so but instead I fished for a item that didnt exist in a crate that had missing loot even though the preview crate did contain the pets.

Worse yet.. I literally didnt want ANYTHING from the crate but the senche pet.. So what I got I had zero interest in.. and I even filmed it for a youtube video haha..

My first experience with crates was not a good one.. Ill say that haha..

Oh well.. bye 1.15M..

I think there are several good ideas in this thread

I would love access to the Baandari pets I did not get.

Having a login reward that is "choice of item 1, 2 or 3" isn't a bad idea either and then put all 3 up for crowns or gems or w/e for the collector's to get the ones they didn't pick as part of login

Next batch of "preview" crates have already been datamined, and I'm afraid it looks to be exactly similar to the Baandari ones.

If we got the chance to choose between the pets and select 1, people would be a lot happier.

And at least, whether we get to choose 1 or not, they should put the rest up for sale. They're literally losing money on not doing it.

A preview implies that the things within are representing the real thing. If the pets aren’t in the real crates it’s not a preview of anything. We aren’t “previously viewing”.
