I played eso since it starts on PC and switched to the PS4 version two years ago. I love the lore, but it hurts to see how they make money with it. No performance fixes, only crown store junk. I got freezes while teleporting since Murkmire (or summerset). Now this happens three times a day

✭BadThe other day I was running sieges in Cyro during and long after prime time and I got disconnected like 3 times just before receiving credit for the siege. A fourth time I was still online but didn't receive credit for the siege despite standing in the middle of the keep when it was taken. I was going to write a rage post then but figured I better not... But boi was I PO'd! LOL0 -

Cause with U23 nuke patch, focus shifted to new builds discussion, so somebody from the ZOS management can report that performance whine reduced. No. It is not fixed, it is still there all the bugs and lags.0 -

✭✭✭ExcellentLatency usually no higher than 160 BUT I don't go to Cyrodiil.
Used to have random, frequent disconnections, but that mysteriously cleared up. ESO claimed they didn't do anything. ISP claimed they made no changes. So it could come back at any time and cause is not identified.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭ExcellentPast couple of weeks I have had two random loading screens that lasted about a second while galloping my mount towards a dragon and had two small glitches in Cyrodiil. No real lag to speak of and can use all my skills just fine.
NA server mostly prime time and late night both PvP and PvE.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."0 -

After a few hours playing I got a sudden spurt of horrendous lag yesterday and the day before. Yesterday I quit and went back in and all was well. I find it starts to happen after fast travelling for some reason, but if coming out for a few minutes fixes it I'm OK with that. Besides, after a couple of hours I should be taking a break anyway.
Maybe it's a feature!

PVP: Mediocre, still playable.
It feels almost like... As if they took some overland server resource power, and used it for PVP instead. People complain about "lag" etc. I don't have much lag at all, some load screens etc. But hardly any lag. It's actually better than in a long time. Battlegrounds is working excellent right now for me.
Dungeons/Trials: Bad, some content nearly unplayable.
In some dungeons with a lot of trash mobs, or a trial like Sanctum Ophidia, I can't help but almost laugh. It's literally "zero FPS" at the worst trash pulls. Something's happening, you just can't see/hear it.
Overland PVE: Next to unplayable or unplayable, depending on what you put up with.
When using your mount for example, it takes literally 4-5 seconds before the sound/animation comes, killing mobs etc. - same thing. Often the animation won't show at all, can't loot bodies because they are "really" like 5 meters behind where the body is showing itself. Looting a node is like: No animation, sound appears when you are 5-7 seconds away and doing something else.0
