Don't get too happy until you see the price.

If it were to be 5000 crowns, they might get a few people to go for it. Who knows, they could price it at 7500 or more. This new feature means absolutely nothing if it is priced out of range of those who want it.

No. You should only thank them if this was a free, account wide feature. As it stands, they are just exploiting your wallet.

I mean, Elder Scrolls Online is an amazing game. Grand Theft Auto Online, as well. They are similar how they try to make people grind and pay eventually. Yes, they cost a lot of money but i think it is deserved and i am not mad at Zenimax. EA tries to do the same thing, too. But they are shady, as hell. They dont care about their games, at all. But Rockstar, Zenimax have excellent products. I see ESO as a 1000 $ game and not a 10 $ one, as it currently costs. So, i am ok with paying. It is just a very expensive hobby. And i accept the fact.

I would rather level it completely by doing the Bogrul dailies than pay for it.

I agree, dont know of anyone that likes leveling undaunted over and over. I stopped after the 4th char.

absolutely, the worst grind in the game by far. Boring, base game veteran dungeons.

So you reward boring game play by giving them more money. All you are saying to Zenimax is "we don't need to make a good fun product, people will be more willingly to spend money on boring content instead".
Not my quote but I love this saying

None of it should be purchasable. Buying any of these things will only encourage them to put even more for sale. Sad indeed.

For my sake, ZOS is damned lucky the storytelling and worldbuilding is so good. If being able to buy your characters advancement had been possible at release, I would never have bought the game. But here I am, already hooked, as they diminish the RPG elements bit by bit.

Hope this is character bound and expensive to boot.

Yup, same. Still seriously thinking about cancelling sub and no more crown packs. Can I just give money directly to the writers, lore folks, and artists? They’re the ones I’d pick for it to go to. =)

I really wish they would put the pricing in brackets next to the 1 crown price everything is on PTS so people who are testing can know the true cost when it goes live.

Honestly if it is 5k crowns you'd be better off just no lifing dungeons and other vet content for the day.

I don't mind these Skill lines being available in the Crown store. I won't buy Undaunted though. I hit level 9 and sometimes level 10 on a new character before reaching level 50.

Now for Assault and Support that is a different story. I may invest in buying that for one or two characters but then again I will wait to see what the cost is. If it is crazy high then forget it. More than 1,000 Crowns is too much in my opinion.

But yes, I'm happy these Skill lines are available in the Crown store with Scalebreaker.

It's just so funny people think this is a good thing. Although i do agree leveling the skill lines like undaunted, psijic and support/assault can be a pain. But they tested the skyshards and i'm sure they did well. Now it's skill lines outside of class skill lines. What makes you think they won't just go full pay for all convenience and unlock everything. This is not good if they continue down this pay for convenience.

The thing is the gameplay wasn’t boring the first couple times through, and it also felt vary rewarding to level up undaunted and the other guild skill lines. I now have multiple toons with maxed out skill lines and I simply don’t want to level those skills again. The content is boring to me now because I’ve already done it multiple times and would now rather spend all my time doing end game content. But the content is very good for someone who is doing it for the first time.

You get the skill line simply for talking to an NPC. That would be hardly worthy of any crowns :)

The patch notes say you gain the line and max level in it. You still have to buy the abilities themselves and level them up. It just does not matter with undaunted, since all you really want (well, what *I* really want :) ) is the passive.

Im fine with leveling Undaunted the same way I always did. Vet HM. My Necro was maxed in a week and was Undaunted 4 when he hit level 50 from running the normals and grabbing achieves. I'll get Psijic finished with 2 portal quests a day so it's not dreadful. Vamp and Fighters leveled themselves up over time. Mages sucks so I'll get a few books at a time, not in one go. I bought some shards with ESO+ crowns and got others when I was bored.
