Not really, as I said in another thread I don't think it would give a clear indication of the systems.
I would rather see player trials guilds of various levels play it and see if they can still clear the content and where the issues are. They're the ones with hundreds of hours of gameplay invested into trials to gain the knowledge and skill not the devs.
Asking devs to play content is just a gotcha so people can go "well devs can't do it, so it's bad game design"
The dev team also consists of testers. At least every development team I have worked on. Someone must have green lit the upcoming changes from an integrated playability perspective. The PTS is not for that it's a pre live, staging/UAT environment. They can't be blind changing without testing, white knuckling till PTS, surely... Anyway, that team will have tested and approved the changes made in the most basic sense, and thus they would be the best suited to demonstrate how they factor into and impact general play, because they already know - - which informs future change in line with their 'vision'. Or, they should... If not, that cause for concern, no? Because otherwise that really will mean that no one at ZOS knows how the game is played, or what the hell their changes are doing.
I'm not interested in the Combat Team's ability to clear a vet Trial.
I am, however, extremely interested in Hodor's opinion.
When I want a professional assessment, I ask a professional.
Do you want your brain surgery performed by a top neurosurgeon, or by the engineer who designed the surgical instruments?

Some of the engineers are, in fact, neurosurgeons and train other surgeons though. So...

Well, the Combat Team probably spend most of thier time doing thier job, and nowhere near as much time training for vet Trials as Hodor, so your attempt to expand my analogy doesn't truly apply.. other than to perhaps reinforce the point I made with the analogy.
I saw the ulterior motive of this thread immediately. Many of the 'Yes' votes know that the Combat Team probably are not an elite Trials team, and are voting 'Yes' knowing full well that the Combat Team would fail to clear the content under the PTS patch.
This would prove nothing, of course. It would, however, provide the 'Yes' vote mentality with petty satisfaction and faulty support for their call to revoke the PTS patch.
tl/dr: Poll is worthless and motivated by petty desire to embarass the Combat Team.

Personally, I just want them to experience the bugs they're conveniently ignoring. Under ideal circumstances, elite teams will find ways to heal HMs in spite of the healing nerfs. Most of us rarely use Spring spam anyway. What I want them to see are the moments when the spam becomes imperative due to the bugs. The Lothis fidget spinner impression with his poison cone, The Warrior farting out his shield in the opposite direction of the AoE telegraph, loading into the first split in AA dead/almost dead because you've got overcharge and call lightning before you can see/do anything, healing through someone stacked with Overcharge, call lightning, and poison AoE (which is oddly hitting harder this patch than before) in vSO, the myriad other telegraph and indicator misfires that are happening in EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE. Let them see what it's like to heal through that trash, especially with their brilliantly gimped abilities.
Making changes is fine, and we can absolutely adapt, but you can't make them in a vacuum and expect it to be okay. They need to first fix the reasons this stuff is needed.

Why?
If my vet trial group went on to the PTS to see if they are having issues with the changes. And came on here and reported those issues, do you know what would happen? Absolutely nothing. Anything we "report" would be ignored.
At least if the devs can't do it they can see where the problems are and fix them, what we say is pointless. Let's see them do it.
And I agree with Uriel's assertion too, don't bring templar healers and DK tanks. Do it with sorc and NB healers. And maybe even a NB tank.

This thread is just one of a hundred over reactions to the patch notes.
