So, can ZOS please update the Sword and Board passive that increases weapon damage by 5% to give spell damage a 5% boost, too? Or at least give the Frost Staff a 5% spell damage boost?

I say a Mudcrab and a Slaughterfish will do right nicely!! All the magic you can handle. See here you can get both in the starter zones and by the time you get to craglorn you should be high enough level to wield the mighty Graveclaw as your shield. Now swing by Alessia Bridge and get that legendary slaughterfish sword

Yes please. I would love this on S&B since I have a couple mag builds that sometimes utilize a S&B bar. I don't actually use any S&B abilities on them, I just do it for the def and blocking passives on classes with abilities that have to be used in melee range, so a passive MA boost would be nice.

Hell, even 5% magic damage increase on the Frost Staff. I don't see why ZOS would buff the stamina damage on a defensive weapon but not buff the magic damage on a defensive weapon.

I don't mind that frost staff is toned more toward defense, I use it on my magsorc for PVP and soloing, having to make the choice of going to ice staff adds depth. Even the heavy taunt has come in handy duoing WBs, if the person I'm with gets in trouble I can taunt and kite for a sec while they get their act together.

S&B though, normally I'd be opposed to a melee weapon getting mag damage, but in the case of S&B, and this is especially true with the upcoming updates, the skill line is more about the board than the sword, and with that in mind it makes sense for a squashy mage to want to carry a shield.
