Do you want to see the balance team run vet trials on the PTS?

Given that @ZOS_BrianWheeler says that his balance team has a "vision" for the game, I wanted to see that vision in action.

Who else would like to see the balance team at ZOS run vSS, vCR, vAS, and vHoF on the PTS? Show us how great your vision is guys! I want to see how much fun you'll be having. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

I'd also love to see all the classes represented on your team. Some DK healers, some NB tanks, some magicka warden DDs. Show us how great this balance patch is at creating class parity!

I would also like to see them run a basic shoplifting run in any town with a Bosmer thief. I would like to see their parse on a stam nightblade solo-ing a public dungeon.

Maybe they're reconsider their racial "balance" and "we have spread the utility over more skills" nonsense.

Yeah lets see it! I'm assuming since the devs made such far reaching changes they must know the meta and game intimately enough to easily clear at least the new DLC dungeons on vet and some vet trials. It would be great for them to show us how its done!

Not really, as I said in another thread I don't think it would give a clear indication of the systems.

I would rather see player trials guilds of various levels play it and see if they can still clear the content and where the issues are. They're the ones with hundreds of hours of gameplay invested into trials to gain the knowledge and skill not the devs.

Asking devs to play content is just a gotcha so people can go "well devs can't do it, so it's bad game design"

That the same post i did yesterday, it is still a yes for me, because it is clear that their team and the players have completely différent problematic and i want to highlight that

I also think that they should hired a team of competitive players Who know the game and can give them constructive and neutral feedback on how the changes they are proposing could affect the game considering is current state

vCR+3 execute phase and vHoF HM execute phase with the current pts healing springs ? I would love to see how they can deal with such incoming damage...

They say "we want to reduce the out heal" but dude... CR execute phase is about to out heal... They clearly have a lake of communications between the team (no offense ZOS, i know it s not easy !)

I'd like to see the Dev Run 2019 for the fun of it, but this quote is spot on. This is supposed to be the purpose of the PTS: real players run the same trials again and give feedback about how the respective changes affect them. But the problem with the PTS.....well that's a different thread.

no, they dont have to cuz they know what they are doing...people need to stop being little !#$%es and adapt...eso is finally taking a step towards the right direction regarding tanks and healers since this is the only mmo I ever played who made tanks and healers the dps buff !#$%^es with no actual reason to ever use anything defensive at all...finally that its going to change.

Considering how the game is having an identity crisis? Yeah. They need to start playing their own game more. I don't care about parses, but I do care about the integrity of group/guild stability in progression runs and the fact that there's an overwhelming amount of bugs that they'd rather put off for future content instead of fixing.

The point people are making is that they wouldn’t clear it, not that they do 5% less DPS. They would be a better indicator of the majority of the player base, as opposed to elite trial guilds that have been working together for years.

This game has a very strange flavor to it. Groups either crush content to their will, easily bending it into submission. Or they struggle and struggle and want to throw in the towel and aren’t good enough.

There’s not much in between.

So the devs would either crush it so hard they would be accused of cheating, or they would fail. So they wouldn’t have so much to gain from demonstrating how awesome they are.

Only a few deaths. Totally like in that dev run at vMoS HM. Totally nobody wiping hard and cursing "f&$@ you strangler" right on live stream. ^^

Not for proof of anything, granted. Not because it'll indicate something. They're not obliged to be good players. But I'd simply want them to squirm a little for not listening to good players (which they have aplenty), even though I know they won't start doing it after the fact.

To think of it, I wouldn't even mind it happening now on live. I don't need nerfed Springs and orbs to enjoy hearing "f$#@ you dragon" when invisible, non-telegraphed bugged ice from Thurvokun would hit devs into ghost walls, pretty fun in my book. They could make it our weekly show for those six weeks until we have AoE bugs fixed, not running those bugged dungeons ourselves gives us plenty of free time to watch them playing. ^^

Some of the engineers are, in fact, neurosurgeons and train other surgeons though. So...

To the OP: so you want a group of people to be coordinated in a vet trial, where guilds take weeks, if not months to be adjusted to each other just this once? I see your point but what you are asking is not doable. Asking for a fail for the sake of the fail is insane.

Yes, for the entertainment value, but it would be more meaningful and informative to watch an experienced raiding group tackling veteran content on the PTS to see how the new changes affect fights compared to live counterparts
