With all of the changes within the last patch and the upcoming patch Magden goes from being in a bad spot to a next to unplayable spot. Blockable shalks hurt PvP damage immensely, sure its a burst skill however its a class with no other class pressure besides Fetcher Infection which relied on that damage in solo and small group play.
Fine, am dealing with that.
Now there's a damage decrease in changing the advanced species passive.
Fine, the passive was just a damage amplifier
Natures grasp was nerfed to align better with other heals.
Okay? but why do they need to keep doing this...
Shock clench loses stun/DoT and has damage nerfed by 17% AND THE RANGE NERFED BY 2m
Why? Are we forgetting that our class spammable and ONLY class stun is a joke?
On top of shalks being blockable which is arguably one of the most telegraphed skills in the game, we have the bird. Which is almost just as telegraphed, which only does single target damage, which doesnt align well with trying to do group pvp, which doesnt do that much damage. And we have a BLOCKABLE, DODGEABLE stun that doesnt do any damage that costs 4k magicka. Okay maybe the heal is worth.. SCALES WITH MAX HP okay so magden has been pidgeon holed into being a damage support role that focuses entirely around having nerfed healing, nerfed damage, no worthwhile spammable, combo skill blockable, and no class stun for pvp.
Maybe instead of doing blanket nerfs you look at how classes were performing and which abilities were actually over performing. because the 17% damage increase on swarm does nothing for players. 30% less damage on our class aoe dot does nothing for players. All it does is *** on the class with not alot of damage options. because they were blanket nerfs and instead of looking to the class for context to see how they can work with other classes you decide to put everything into one category and completely gut them
