    Some of the things I would do:

    1. I would expand the class skill lines to at least 10-15 class Skills per skill line because the classes are so frustratingly lackluster. Just try to create a hunter ranger in ESO - you can't. A warden archer simply doesn't cut it. Not with the pitiful skill line it has. The same applies to other archetypes and classes in this game.

    2. Since ESO needs far more ways to spend skill points I would add more possibilities to do so. I would add Guild Skill lines like the Morag Thong in Vvardenfell, Illumination Academy in Summerset, possibly even make the Wyrds in Glenumbra/ Bangkorai and the Spinners in Valenwood joinable guilds.
    Guilds like the Thieves guild and the Dark Brotherhood do need some active abilities. While I don't have many decent ideas yet, a smoke bomb skill for the Thieves guild comes into my mind.

    3. More weapon skill lines for magicka players: One hand and rune, bound weapons (from TES V: Skyrim)

    4. I would rework the skill morph system. With all the distinction in stamina and magicka, PvE and PvP, the game really needs more morph choices, so that the player actually has a choice. I would expand it and add more layers to it, so that players can choose between more secondary effects to their skills and therefore actually be able to customize their builds. This would probably be a discount version of the spell crafting system.

    5. Ability Skins! Definitely! So, that the entire playerbase isn't forced to stick with the same boring ugly pets, which we currently have.

    6. A loadout system. So, players can easily switch between roles and modes (PvE vs PvP) to always get the most out of their champion point allocation. Perfect quality of life solution if you don't want to spend 3k gold each time you switch between PvP and PvE, etc.

    change all 18 sorcerer class skills to bound armor including ultimates :)

    now they can dodeca-slot bound armor and enjoy the game like every other class :)

    As a developer for this game I would probably be working on veteran zones for players who want more of a challenge while doing quests and landscape content. I would also implement a new PvP system that reduced incoming damage based on how many players were targeting a single player. For example: if 4 players targeted a single player their damage would be reduced by a factor of 4. That way zerging would be less effective and players could actually enjoy some decent combat.

    I would also reduce the strength of walls in Cryodil so players could low man keeps more easily - which would lead to less concentrations of people on the map. Cyrodil needs more sparse and sporadic fighting and less zerging. I'd remove the stupid targeting restrictions on heals so that all healing spells were omnidirectional - reduce the threshold for fall damage - and bring back the old unstoppable so players could build for CC immunity if they wished. I'd increase the max limit on furniture in housing and add player gardens where they could grow their own alchemy plants. I'd add trials to the Activity Finder - make combat queues operational 24/7 - remove the frequent one shot mechanisms from DLC dungeons.... I could go on and on. I would be busy as a developer - at least until I was promptly fired for telling my corporate overlords to kiss my ___.

    I would split PvP and PvE skill values so they can be balanced separately. Basically when entering a PvP area load a PvP table and when entering a PvE area load a PvE table. It's time to get off the merry go round of a change to one breaks the other.

    Because until This, nothing else that might do means anything, because they'll undo it two patches later.

    I know right.

    A friend of mine bought a new car and was always complaining that the window would go half way and get stuck. If you put anything but a medium drink in the cup holder it would fall on the floor if he didn't drive with one hand on the drink.The car would unsink from his phone and then be unable to find it again for a few days to a week and on and on and on about things that he claimed didn't work.

    I said to that less than can you use the engineering software it takes to design a cup holder? Do you know how Bluetooth works? Then you need a lot more years of education before talking about things like cup holders or anything else for that matter.

    I'd make the skeleton polymorph represent your race better.

    Khajiit/Argonian/Orcs need some love too since most men/mer share the same bone structure.

    I'll never understand what people see in FFXIV. The combat is so robotic and streamlined. There is hardly any character building - any build diversity - and most of the fights are basically just a game of dodge ball. It runs well and has good graphics and sound. But the gameplay is so dull in my opinion. I only play it because I have friends there. Otherwise I would never touch that game to be honest.

    This one would formally change 'New Life' to 'Fishmas' … even though we all call it Fishmas anyway …

    Allow travellers to purchase a trading stand for their homes and other properties.

    Take full advantage of the best the company canteen has to offer.

    Make a big bad bonfire of all the crates and just sell things openly and honestly to whichever traveller wants them. Also much less of this limited time business and a much larger store stock at any one time.

    Order herself a very comfy chair, the best stapler and a lot of executive desk toys.

    Throw the whole bid on 10 traders thing out of the window.

    Make meetings more fun and improve the quality of biscuits offered. Ban spreadsheets forever.

    Housing NPCs. Lots of them. All races.

    Many more open space housing plots to be offered in the future with more prefabricated building parts, including the roof.

    Everyone finishes work at lunchtime on a Friday.

    1) Master writs - When you complete a master writ, you unlock it in a collectibles tab. You can add new traits and styles to the item as you complete more master writs. This would fix the garbage Jewelry writs, because writs would have an additional value to them if they are now unlockables.

    2) Armory - Overworld sets can be stored for all Characters on your account costing 10 Undaunted keys per item added. (Not Trial / Dungeon / Monster Helm). Certain overworld sets that are quest rewards can only be unlocked by completing the quest, this would encourage alts to do questing.

    3) Soul Merge - 18 Characters is getting a bit hectic, not really scale-able. I'd want an ability to merge multiple characters of the same class. IE. If you have a Nord Dragon Knight Tank and a Dunmer mDK you can Soul Merge the two. You select the primary and the secondary becomes a new profile load out. So if the Nord DK is the primary, it can swap to the Dunmer loadout, Dunmer racials, mDK skill, mDK items, mDK CP etc. The Lore would be that Azura gave your Dunmer mDK his soul back and as such died, but got his soul back, but his essence remains within your Nord Tank. This 1 Dragon Knight you have can now swap between Tank or mDK in a single click. QoL - It means all your Dragon Knights can rest on the one character without having to swap character. You lose a character slot if you do it. You get double inventory slots. Max of 3 per class (18 slots in total, 6 classes, you'll end up with 6 characters with 3 loadouts each if you were to max it all out).

    Changing a secondary racial skill costs 50k gold, changing primary racial costs a token.

    4) Mat overhaul
    a ) Remove Ta, Jejota and the Furniture Rune. Make Denata daily writs, Rekuta Furniture, Kuta BIS
    b ) Remove the requirement for Alchemy Solvent, most ingredients (eggs, larvae) are gooey enough
    c ) Reduce the crafting mats of Woodworking, Clothing, Blacksmithing to 5 (like how Jewelry operates)
    d ) Remove trait items and their requirement in Wood / Cloth / Blacksmithing (except for Nirnhoned)
    e ) Same as d ) but for Jewelry but only apply to Arcane, Robust, Healthy traits
    f ) Remove the 'collect 10 pieces of garbage to create 1 slightly better piece of garbage' system for the style traits found in certain areas. Instead replace them with a full item that has a 8-10 times lower drop rate.
    g ) Either have hirelings direct deposit into the craft bag for all player (skipping the tedious mail check) or remove hirelings and buff daily writs to compensate.

    If I were a dev.. Hmm.
    I guess I would:
    1. Re-enabled a bit archaic today Direct X9 support, for a very simple reason - the game worked better on it. Sure, it was slightly more ugly but the performance lose was not worthy "slighly" better game look.
    2. I would look at racials and buff Wood Elf and Argonian acordingly.
    3. I would add group finder support for trials & arenas.
    4. I would not change WW Pack Leader at all (aside from overall WW changes that is) and instead fix targeting system (I would basically add menu option "ignore pets" or "prioritize players over pets".
    5. I would change how AW scoring & potenial points work to be population dependant, to prevent morning & night caping pvd / pve affecting the result of pvp campaign.
    6. I would change how vote kick works so it would reqire 3 votes instead of 2.
    7. I would fix tormentor set to proc off any gap closer.

    Those were just a brief ideas. If I will have more I will edit the post and add them.

    I would create a 'quick poll' that would pop up whenever someone logs into the game. Like the crown store advertisement *eye roll*.

    In it I'd put things like 'Do you think dungeon A is too hard?' 'Do you want to see an overhaul of X?' 'Would you be interested in Y?' 'Did you enjoy *insert new content*?' 'Would you like to see a DLC based on Z?'

    To keep things really simple, give it only three possible answers. Yes. No. Ignore/cancel/don't care/not answer. And a field for feedback with only like 50 characters or 5 words or something.

    This would be a simple way to actually collect concise feedback from the community. The people who PLAY. The people who log in. Not just streamers and forum goers and the top 0,00001% who can complete all content. When they decided to change something no one asked for, then they could tell us with all the confidence what % of players voted for this. No more of those surprise nerfs 'literally no one' asked for.

    This game feels like sitting helplessly in the back of a bus while having neither knowledge of where it's going or why it's suddenly leaving the road and rolling down a hill with no brakes. Sometimes the trip is nice, sometimes it turns into a mess with no warning.

    PS this new forum style is HORRIBLE.
