    They seem to be removing threads that are harshly critical or insulting to the devs. This thread isn't likely to stand either as it is discussing moderation.

    Combative, maybe, but unhelpful? I don't think so. Very valid points were made.

    They should have just locked it and left it read-only, so that we could read it and silently condemn it for its harshly critical, combative and unhelpful content!

    EDIT: furthermore, reading these threads could make some of us non native speakers more proficient with wider array of insults.

    All it violated was someones ego. Making points with real life comparisons and actually opening up a more in depth conversation is definitely frowned upon, so they make it seem.
