Can we have some clarification on end of campaign faction changing

Hi, can we please have some clear clarification of what we are supposed to do at the end of the campaign so as (if we wish) to change the faction we wish to play as at the end of last campaign we were stuck on the same faction even if we left the campaign etc. There are approx 10 days to go on PC EU and we would like some clarification so as not once again get stuck for another 30 days if we wish to change. Thanks

    Yes please. If I remove all my toons from Cyro a day before the campaign ends (not quit the campaign) and Only enter the new campaign month with the Alliance toon I would like to use, will it change?

    I currently have an EP toon with Kaalgronthid and a DC toon with Balokdaan as it's home. I'd like to switch the 2 around, as the DC guild I want to join runs in Kaalgronthid.

    We understand there are some frustrations currently when logging into a character that was previously in a 30-day faction locked campaign, and automatically being re-locked into the same Alliance. In the future, we will be adding some protections against this scenario. Until we’re able to implement that, you should double check your character’s last saved location on the character select panel to help prevent accidental Alliance locking to a Campaign when you want to switch to another Alliance. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

    Ah,so I must just make sure my first re-entry to Cyro on the new Campaign is on the correct toon and all my others must be saved out of Cyro before the time?

    Yeah I saw that earlier in the month, I then heard people saying they had actually removed all their chars and left the campaign only to find they still couldn't change. Thats why i am asking this well in advance (10 days) before the next campaign ends. Thanks though :)

    Make sure you abandon the campaign. You can do it for free when the campaign ends or spend AP to do it immediately.

    Correct. I won't do an "abandon campaign" option because I'm concerned about losing the 30 day rewards. Just leaving Cyrodiil on all characters before end of campaign seemed to work fine for me last time the 30 day ended.
