Hi

So I haven’t played ESO for a long, long time. I thought I’d come back but I’m feeling very overwhelmed. I’m only level 24. I have a full inventory and bank so I don’t know what I should sell and keep. I know I want to be a healer but not sure what the second class was for general PvE (nothing seems to be levelled much). I have quests coming out the wazoo! I’ve just been running some random dungeons which I really enjoy so I need to get grasp on what to do outside of that. Any suggestions welcome. Or even point me to a guide for returning players if one exists..

Thanks

First and foremost sell trash. That is, items actually marked as "trash" category".

Deconstruct gear that is not appropriate for you class, that will level your crafting skills. That usually means decon all non-set gear at least and decon all set gear not appropriate for your class. Remember to save items for trait research so dont decon those.

Search google for eso gear sets and look through them. when found what you need/want go to the zones and farm them up. Go into delves, public dungeons and dolmens and/or join groups to kill world bosses (or ask in zone chat for help). While in public dungeons make sure to complete the group event for skill point + take the skyshards. Dont forget the skyshard in delves too.

If you have some gold to spend or know a helpful friend/guildie make them craft an appropriate set for you. For example magicka caster set could be Julianos + Seducer, good old classic.

Join a helpful and friendly pve guild.

You could also join the huge dolmen groups in Alikr to level up easy-mode, but downside is you dont really learn anything from it and it gets kinda boring. But it's pretty good to level up some skills and can get some jewelry too.

For alchemy and enchanting I suggest waiting with that until you have blacksmithing/clothing/woodworking/jewelry leveled up. Alchemy and Enchanting takes up too much space if you dont have eso+ due to the missing infinite craft bag. So for now just destroy the white-blue runestones that you may have adccidentally picked up here and there (for exmaple heavy sacks some times give you those). Also destroy or exctract any white glyphs you find. I guess you could vendor them too, but they pay so little and take up so much space it's not worth it imo.

Also you can go to the inn and get a free tiny room in the inn. There you can put furnishing items that you may have received that you dont want to sell (saves a bit of inventory/bank space).

At that level destroy (deconstruct) everything, except your armor. Then destroy that as you keep getting higher level armor to replace, no point repairing gear at this point.

Try battlegrounds if you like pvp.
Do daily dungeon quest everyday for some quick xp.
Start the main quest if you haven't.
    Join a guild, make friends.

Step 1) google which of your Quests are the main story. I think they should be:
    Prophet
    Alliance
    Fighters
    Mages
    Delete all the rest.

Step 2) learn about woodworking and clothing since you will play a healer. Deconstruct all other items.

Step 3) since you are only 24 just get a Seducers gear set in Training bonus (xp boost) and lv up by doing the quests of the stories and the locations you visit.
Learn about the rest of crafts and reach CP160 lv. Then start learning your class.
