I love this game

With all the negativity in the forums right now about the update, I want to put out some positivity. I've been playing this game off and on for years and absolutely love it. It has helped me through lengthy depressive episodes, and I find myself excited for every content release. I enjoy all the different things you can do in game, from simply roaming around collecting mats and chests to the pvp. If I get bored with something, there is always something else to do. I'm not a roleplayer, but I love being caught up in the immersion of my character... she's kind, yet fierce (lol) and I love slipping away into the fantasy of it. Thank you to everyone who has worked on this game!

    "I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

    The reason everybody is angry is because they love it as well, and don’t like what is happening. I’ve been playing for a little over a year now and I’ve become invested in the characters I’ve made, forming RP elements around them, and I just want to see them succeed. TES is one of those series’s that inspires emotional investment, and being an mmo makes it constantly change so it’s inevitable. Even if I think the changes may be for the better it doesn’t make me happy or make my MagDK bae feel any better! Haha. But don’t mind me I’m just rambling, More love in a game is always a good place to start :D

    I feel sad for the people who depended on stuff like caltrops, wall of elements and volley all the time.

    Meh.

    I like this game.

    I liked another game, better, but the devs were fixated on stuff that was non-lore, and changing stuff all the time because they were out of ideas.

    And the programmers were all fired after release, including all the guys who were going to program all the 'players will get to this point later, so we have time' unfinished stuff that was left to be cleaned up in the weeks following release because they had to release on the deadline.

    And nobody knew how to finish writing the programing because all the guys who knew where all the code threads were supposed to tie together were told to leave.

    And nobody had a clue how to fix the bugs in the original release, or worse, the bugs they introduced with all the kludges they wrote trying to figure stuff out.

    I liked that world better, and I liked that whole plot-line better, but, alas, it failed, and this is 2nd best.
    There wasn't a good 3rd place, so I came here and stuck with it because of inertia.

    I'm getting to the point where I just don't care anymore.

    The game is beautiful, the world is beautiful, but the lore-masters are going off the rails, and the moneygrab is getting to be embarrassing.

    ::shruggz::
    The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

    yeah, because why should anyone depend on the weapon skills provided in game?

    I feel sad for people who thinks they get to dictate how other people should play their characters in a game series that's known for granting freedom of playing the way you want for their players.
