Shields are pretty much donezo in non cp pvp (the only pvp that matters in my opinion; cp isn’t PvP, it’s a resource arms race in my opinion). This will put the nail in the coffin.
The pet changes, while expected, are overkill also as expected and just add insult injury.
The shield changes will make certain classic specs such as necro/lich which are reliant on jewelry enchants to work forced to spec all protective. Or forced to change to bright throat/necro and take a major sustain hit, furthermore, the pet heal nerfs unless this means one barring pets may force a change out of double Destro staff to restoration/inferno without the burst heal from the pet. I agree with the pet nerfs provided pets will now take one ability slot but the shield nerfs without changing bound aegis to last longer or another survivability ability equivalent in strength to cloak (such as ball lightning now absorbing bow projectiles) will severely hamper the classes survivability in pvp.
The shield changes suck pretty badly without keeping this in mind and I hope some additional changes are made as the class will now be back to square one with survivability issues. The constant nerfs are getting old and getting sick of throwing money at this game with this continual nonsense.
