What of we calmly discussed about the patch notes?

They is alot of changes coming. It's a known fact that most people are afraid of changes. But even if I was concerned earlier about the balance of the game, the complete patch note has been posted and everything makes much more sense. Will people be pissed? Yes. Will people adapt? For sure. I've seen many good and many bad changes, from my perspective. Healing just took a punch in the throat but I'm naive enough to think it'll be better balanced at the end of the pts. Other than healing, alot of sets/skills have been balanced and will add a variety of skills to choose from giving the players actual choices to do instead of all using the same build for max dammage. I'm honnestly (personally) happy about most of the changes and will actually enjoy rebuilding some of my char while also enjoying the little break from upgrading my characters in current meta by waiting for the changes.

Until then, I think we must all come together and discuss about the pros and cons of some of those changes and about how we feels about them. Please, remember to be constructive and try to explain how you think x or y skills nerf/buff is good/bad and why.

I'll start by stating that I'm happy that alot of ignored morphs will now get some love and will serve a purpose other than making our choice easy.

I'll continue by saying I'm a bit shaken by the bow nerfs in general, but at the same time, I think it'll now be possible to play as a bow player more easily as its main spammable got upgraded and that another skills now gives utility and/or heal to the player, which can close the gap between using a bow/bow build vs a bow/dw or bow/2h build. What people are afraid about the bows changes I think is that it wont be a brain dead dammage increase to DW or 2H users by backbarring it anymore. It'll be a line of its own like 2h and DW is currently.

I also see alot of people currently complaining about magika users, when I mostly read buffs to magika skills and some on magika sets. I'm seriously confused as of those complaints, since the changes seems actually.... great?..

There are many different threads about something that is not constructive. Leak or real why would 7 different threads about the same thing be warranted.

I'm not in any form of panic, but I'm clearly not the only one to see a pattern of overselling and underperforming recently. I read complaint about it everyday on the forum for the last couple of months, on pretty much every posts. In the last couple of days there have been instances of censure on the side of the mods, which havent been well accepted. The reason behind all this is a lack of communication. Communication is and has always been the key to everything.

I'm positive no one cares about my thought, but you asked.

I'm too laid back to be so, passionate, as you vocal players have been. As far as i am concerned, the game, for me, has been mostly playable. Some load screens here, stuttering there, a rare crash. But majority of the time i have a stable experience. I adapt to gameplay changes and i deal with the lag when it hits cause i know its not permanent. Am i sad that Relentless Focus no longer gives me 8% damage done? Yeh. Does it upset me when 5 attacks hit me all at once in Cyrodiil? Sure. Do these things make the entire game a piece of crap? Hell no.

From how i see it, ZOS wont allow their community managers to directly communicate with us in real time, because they are a company first and foremost. Everything they say to their customers can be thrown back against them, a lot of the time resulting in legal problems. Everything people like Gina say to us on the forums, needs to be approved beforehand. Thats pretty tedious when people want them to communicate like a long distance girlfriend. And when it comes to communication concerning performance, they will only say something when they have something concrete to share. If what theyre working on is still up in the air and unknown, theyre not gonna make a sticky post saying, "We dont know but we're working on it".

The changes are good ones I like. But its still in PTS. ZOS may or may not go forth with them all.

Im sure there will be changes, at some degrees/points, but what do you like the most about the current patch notes and why? The more detailed informations and reasons we give to ZOS, the better they can work on making the game the greatest possible.
