What is offered this week?
The Golden vendor is a special vendor located in one of base camps for each faction in Cyrodiil that only appears on the weekend to sell monster sets that are obtained in the various group dungeons around Tamriel.

Ring of the Warlock – Arcane 250,000g / 500,000AP
Ring of Durok's Bane – Healthy 250,000g / 500,000AP
Smuggler's Ring – Arcane 150,000g / 300,000AP*
Sithis' Ring – Arcane 150,000g / 300,000AP*
Swarm Mother's Helm – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
Sentinel of Rkugamz Helm – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP

*Tradeable

Items purchased with Alliance points are impenetrable.

There is and it works exactly like Crowns for Gold, i.e. you ask someone to buy the item for you and you give them the going rate of gold for the currency they used. Keep in mind, most of these items are bound on pick up and therefore not tradable, and for those that are you can probably find them on guild traders anyways.

People keep thinking that the Golden Vendor is somehow stacked or rigged, I don't believe it is.
What is is, is highlighting the fact that roughly 90% of the sets in the game are garbage.
It's not rigged to be bad, it's just randomly pulling from a pool of 90% garbage, so we're getting garbage for sale about 90% of the time.
Really, they brag about having 100s of sets and all that, but really only like 30 of them are viable. Another 10 or 20 or so are semi-viable but sub-par, or incredibly niche. The rest are vendor trash/decon fodder.
I've been saying it for a while; "Stop adding new sets and start making old ones viable". Which they have been doing. Kinda. Every patch they rework a couple old sets, with varying degrees of success, but at least they're trying I suppose.

Anyway, @BenevolentBowd thanks for doing this every week. I'm sure many more use your service than ever thank you for it, but know that you're doing a great number of people a huge service. On behalf of everyone, thank you.
