In general, put as many points as possible into your primary damage stat. Typically that is all your points into magicka in your situation. If you're still low on CP, you may find your health a bit low for PVE content where 1 shots become an issue. You can toss some points into health or use health glyphs to get your health up a bit while you're leveling. 16k health is typically the lowest I'd want to be in PVE content on a damage dealer, but may depend a bit on your skill level and group composition as well as the content you're playing. Non vet and non DLC content is much more forgiving.

    More or less, yes.

Although you should probably try to get your health to 20k, (when buffed by a consumable). So you can do this via armour and/or skill point distribution. Although if you run content with good healers and tanks, you can go lower on your health.

On a sorc specifically, if you run with a pet, yes, because you have a passive that increases your HP. Unless you run with ghastly eye bowl, you should have enough HP. Even with witchmother's brew after the nerf it should be sufficient.

I think he chose the wrong race in that case...

But seriously. Yeah OP you should put all into magicka as your skills and weapons will scale from max magicka, so more magicka = more damage.

It's the same for me, except i'm on the opposite resource stamina. All my points are in Stamina. It also make my heal, Vigor, very powerful, as it is a stamina ability, and thus scales of stamina.

The basic rule is this: If it uses magicka, it scales from your magicka pool. If it uses stamina, it scales from your stamina pool.

Also you're playing the best race for magicka sustain, so you're in good shape.

Not as good as other stamina races but i wouldn't call it "wrong race".
Spell resist, max mag, mag rec and mag cost reduction are always welcome, even if you are a stamina class.

Assuming you will play a magsorc in PvE, then yes, I'd put all attribute points into magicka.

Your base health will be around 12.5k but you can boost it up to a comfortable level (17-19k) by doing the following:
    - Blue Savory food that boosts your mag and hp. There are provisioning perks that can boost the duration from one hour to an hour and 20 mins.
    - Take Undaunted up to level 9 and grab the Undaunted Mettle passive. That, combined with wearing 5 light, 1 heavy, 1 medium armor will give you +6% to all three of your attributes.
    - You will then want one additional hp 'boost' from any of the following sources: A passive like a pet sorc gets for having a pet summoned. A hp boost from an armor set bonus. Last resort if these first two are not good choices for you is to go ahead and enchant one of your big pieces of armor (like your chest piece) with a health glyph.
PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo

Generally if grouped with a mag or stam warden you will also have minor toughness 10% Health increase.

In pvp you get the battle spirit buff stat increase.

Get 18k to 20k health first by attributes or by enchants. Can reduce health later.

2 out of 3 of those are completely useless for stamina.

I think you mean 2 out of 4.
Anyway, stamina classes do use magicka skills as well, so i wouldn't call them "useless"

I suppose, but if you're after crazy stam' sustain there are better choices. Suppose it's what you want really.
