Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

I wish our characters wielded daggers in an icepick grip fashion instead

Aka reverse grip, where you hold the blade with the blade coming from the botton of the hand.

I just find it so cool and much more badass looking, rather than holding daggers like how you would any other weapon.

This would be a great "personality" upgrade. (if personalities could alter fighting animations, that would be awesome because they already have an assassin personality)

Yeah this. Believe it or not, but holding daggers "reverse" is not exclusive to Asian culture. Asian culture is just "cool" because the only weapons most people know about are tantos and katanas.

I'd love this. I'm surprised it isn't already a thing since it would look so much better and make classes that dual wield feel so much more individual.

Agreed. Wish more that a DW move wasn't holding the knives out to the side and spinning around. Even more that bows never fired more than one projectile at a time regardless what happened downrange.

I tried to make an assassin Nightblade that dualwields daggers, but after seeing my character running around, like as if he's holding a knife and fork and chasing after his meal, I lost interest...

I hope they change the wielding animations for daggers in the future, or add these animations through the Assassin Personality, like red suggested above.

It certainly would give daggers a unique identity, since many of them are difficult to distinguish from swords (even though there is no clear distinction of blade length between IRL daggers and swords)
