Hello everyone.
This is a pretty much straighfoward topic.
Starting from the fact that the bone colossus's morph named "PUMMELING GOLIATH" needs to be changed my suggestion is isntead to REMOVE that morph.
The reasons are simple:
1) They both scales on Maximum health
2) They are both aoe
3) They are both melee
Now, we all know the expolits of some... "players" who know that the damage output is simply stupid, in fact i suspect that some protester will taint this topic demanding that things stays as they are, but make no mistakes: the situation has become so ridiculous that those who oppose a change are 100% the very same scumbags i mentioned.
That said, another core concept that demands this morth to be canceled is that you cannot build a full tank and still be allowed such a damage output which, no matter what some dishonest will tell you, is NOT avoidable.
Now, we all agree here, as rational beings, that a chance is imperative, therefore i come with a proposal, given the fact that there is very little in this morph worth to be saved.
My proposal is developing a new moprh that may be useful to DDs but not pickable if the intent is to tank.
1) Make it scale on the highest value among spell and weapon power
2) Lower or erase the health buff
3) Focus the theme on the "damaging" existing themes of the necromancer class
The way to do it are many, here i suggest one that seems plausable and funny:
A bone colossus similar to the NPC one, that spawns 4 melee skeletons which should be capable of charged, bashing attacks and create a desecrated area on death. Those skeletons immediately respawn if one of them dies. Maybe one additional one is created if an enemy nearby dies while this effect is active. Also, being hit while this morph is active will cause corpses to detach from your body with a 5 second cooldown (this may partially solve the current reliability problem with the corpse mechanic).
