Only spammable skill is steel Tornado. What If i dont want to use DW? Should i switch to another weapon set only to deal with cloaking cowards? While cloak is not tied to any weapon or armor nox Type? Balance my friend. Balance.
Block wont reveal the Nightblade that is waiting in cloak until i am tired, drop block and move on. The He comes fully pre buffed and ganks me.
You mean immovable potions? That give like 12 seconds immunity with 40+ seconds cooldown? Or the heavy armor skill? I think i shouldnt explain to you why this skill is Trash.

Or you can use the following:
Dragon Knight:
- Fiery breath and it's morphs
- Dark Talons and its morphs (doesn't pull them from stealth but you can hold them in place while they are in cloak and use the other moves)
- Voltile Armor
- Inhale and it's morphs
- Eruption
Sorcerer:
- Daedric curse and morphs
- Defensive rune (for the gankers in cloak)
- Daedric mines (if you place it right)
- Lightning form and its morphs
- Bolt Escape and its morphs
Templar:
- Puncturing Swipes and its morphs
- Spear Shards
- Sun Fire (great for speed reduction)
- Ritual of Retribution (when a NB stands in it, it pulls them out of cloak)
Nightblade
- Mark Target and its morphs
- Path of darkness (and morph that deals damage)
- Aspect of terror
- Drain power and its morphs
Misc:
- Caltrops
- That spin to win move in duel wield
- Magelight
- Magic Detonation (that stays on the NB player)
- Revealing Flare
- Detection pots
- If you really want.....Wall of elements
TBH, I am not too familiar with the Warden and Necro to tell you what they use to pull NB out of cloak except the beetle move from Warden.
Anyone can add or correct anything I listed but I listed all the things that I have used to pull NBs out of cloak and also what has pulled me out of cloak. If you don't set yourself up for fighting back cloakers...then that is on you. Everyone has a certain amount of skills they can place on their bar and you can't counter EVERYTHING with ease. It takes experience and knowledge of other classes and builds to know what you can use to work on pressure points on the build. Even simply running your enemy out of resources is a counter (example: A Stambalde can only cloak so many times. Keep pulling them out and they will run out of Magicka to use on Cloak. if you face a Mageblade, they are a lot slower than Stamblades, especially since they got rid of the movement speed from some skills).

Like 80% If these skills are ONLY against cloak. While cloak is against everything. Thats not balance.
Nightblades use one skill to counter every dot, projectile and ofc being invisible.
I have then one skill against cloak wich is useless as soon as i Fight a non Nightblade.
That far from being balanced.

Sounds like excuses to me.

All the things listed are viable ways to reveal blades....."I don't want to do x thing or use y skill" is an excuse.
You've been given usable, viable ways to counter. Use them or get ganked...your choice.

Think of it as Nightblades version of a shield.
You know...
Dark assassins class. Go in and out of stealth.
Kuramas9tails wrote: »Dark assassins class. Go in and out of stealth. I hope you equally complain about the amount of resistance and shields Sorcs/Necros/Wardens/DKS have compared to NBs. Nor does a NB have a class instant burst heal like Templars/DKs/Necros/Wardens/Sorcs. I seen Twilights heal for more than breath of life. I highly doubt you took passives from classes into consideration.
Edit: And if you think ESO PVP will ever be balanced, you will forever be disappointed. That is why there is always a new META every patch.

I accept cloak as a defensive and offensiv tool but its current version is just to strong with Zero downside of using it.
Similiar skills like streak or Mistform always have a downside. Streak gets increased cost and Mistform disables healing and magicka regen. Where is the downside to cloak? Cloak is just overloaded in its current state.
- invisible
- healing in cloak
- regen in cloak
- garantue crit for next attack/healing
- passivly proc armor buff
And being invisible gives you additional advantages. Pre buff, Reposition already charge heavy attack.
All this with 0 downside.... They should disable healing and magicka regen in cloak. Then i am fine.

Thats not an excuse. Its basic understandment of balance.
To counter cloak i need to use skills that are mostly useless against any other class in the game. While cloak is usefull against everything.
I dont know what type of PvP experience you have but claiming expert hunter a viable counter to cloak is just pathetic. Range is to smal, cost way to high and it doesnt even reveal the Nightblade in 70% of the cast with the Nightblade in range.
To Balance cloak they should disable magicka regen and healing in cloak.

This is the first I've heard that Shalks, Whirling Blades, and Caltrops are useless against other classes.....🙄🤭
Seriously, L2P...
Who uses caltrops? Okay zerglings do....
Shalks have 3 Seconds delay, guess where the Nightblade is then. Good luck.
And whirling blades force me to go dw.
You keep saying l2p. I really hope you are on PC EU so i can show you how i can play. Forumtard.
