Been over a year still waiting to link the eso account to twitch ps4, when will this be enabled for us? Need an update please.
Have 49 crates in twitch notifications so far, but can’t receive them in game on ps4, since May 2018. Cos we don’t have the option to link them in eso account page for console yet still. @ZOS_GinaBruno@ZOS_JessicaFolsom
Ask Sony and Microsoft to allow it. I have a feeling that they have to approve it before ZOS can enable it.
I know they have to approve it, that’s why I’m wondering what’s the progress so far as it’s been over a year on approval, or has ZOS forgot about twitch crates for consoles.
We console players streams and watches streams a lot too.
Another problem is when ps4 streams from ps4 the game title doesn’t put us under eso twitch game, so when you browse under twitch eso, you can’t find our streams. I don’t know how to fix it too, unless you’re streaming from PC for PS4 player. This is why don’t see much ps4 streams under twitch but they’re actually streaming just the game title bug makes their stream not found under twitch eso.
Ask Sony and Microsoft to allow it. I have a feeling that they have to approve it before ZOS can enable it.
Why do you think has anything to do with Sony or Microsoft ? The way this (most likely) works is that twitch informs ZOS's servers when a user watches the stream and if he has registered for the program. The creates are distributed internal in ESO's game servers. There is nothing that would affect Sony or Microsoft.
cept that they aren't on ZoS servers for ps4 or xbox. the game for them is on console servers.
if it were just ZoS servers, then major updates like dlc's or expansions wouldn't take an extra week or more to get on those servers.
This is also why it would prob require not just permission but also additional code to set up twitch crates on console.
I would not be surprised at all if no actual effort has been made since they have such an easy work around in place already.
What are Natch Potes? Can you eat those?
I believe in Genie-Gina.
The megaservers (which do most of the work) are operated by ZOS. Client changes (UI, graphics, etc) need to approved by Sony/MS.
Nothing with the twitch drops requires anything from the client. Registering for drop requires you logging on with your Zenimax account (which every Console user also has) and then telling twitch to notify ZOS when the user watches a stream. It’s the megaservers that role the dice and distribute the crates.
As to why this isn’t on Consoles ? ZOS doesn’t care about them, the game only need to work barely to continue sales.
