Esraj emote - you finally got it right!

The new Esraj emote from crates shows exactly how these things should be implemented:
1) It's looped, meaning you don't have to refresh it every 10 seconds or so
2) It's an EMOTE and not a MEMENTO, meaning you can use it on the fly, like /lute and /drum, instead of obnoxiously having to slot it in one of your very limited numer of quickslots, or use it from a tedious memento menu

People are already using the Esraj all over the server, unlike older mementos which you never see, due to them being implemented in an extremely customer-unfriendly manner (short duration, not looped, memento instead of emote).

Now please go back and change some of the older ones, like miredrums and vossa-satl, and plenty of other mementos, which should really be emotes instead, or at least add an emote alternative to trigger them as well.

    Memento's are.... weird.
For example; the storm atronach and spriggan transformations. These look AMAZING. I love them. Yet, they lay forgotten and completely pointless, because they have timers attached to them. In a perfect world, the mementos section would be scrapped completely, with all the mementos transferred over to the emotes, polymorphs and furnishing sections.
Struggling to find a new class to call home. Please send help.

Too many particle effects on those for them to be permanent. it would murder pvp, so maybe just make them unable to be used in pvp, but they already did that by making them momentos.

I noticed that your fingers actually line up to the playing of the thing, which imo is the coolest thing. Always bothers me to see someone pantomime an instrument and their fingers are just willy nilly
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

I agree. Several of the mementos are really better as furniture items, and a lot of them are better as emotes, with even a few better as polys or skins. Mementos are pretty much useless, and I never see them used by anyone, after a short period of time when they are first introduced on the server.

ZOS, take a lesson, nobody uses mementos, we like emotes, furnishings and skins/polys instead.

There are plenty of ways to deal with that, could disallow them for pvp like they already do with assistants and mementos, or they could tie it to "friendly effects" which you can disable yourself in settings, or a third way. It's not really particle heavy regardless, compared to all the other shizz you and your teammates and opponents can throw at one another with skills and buffs.

I luckily got it in my preorder crate, and love it! It's my usual idle emote. I recommend having someone with a drum stand next to you, and you'll have perfection(anything else just sets off the tune)

I immediately bought the Bright Moons memento thinking it was a looping emote. It would've been nice to have the two moons spinning around me for longer than a few short seconds.
