I've always wanted a stamina based staff that had some utility. So here is what I am thinking would be a pretty awesome addition to the game:
Staff Characteristics
- 5-10% Less DMG than 1h/2h lines
- Slightly longer reach @ 8-9 meters
- DMG or (lower) DMG/Heal
The below are just thoughts on how such a weapon could be utilized, not suggesting these would be the skills. This would allow a stamina based healer in the game (main intent), but does force a morph choice for this, no healing will be on the staff skills without a morph.
Striking Blow - Deals X DMG
|M| Quick Blows - Deals X DMG consecutively 5 times with the last blow dealing 250% more DMG
|M| Illustrious Blows - Deals X DMG consecutively 5 times with the last blow healing you or an ally for X
Dash - Launch across the earth and whack an enemy, dealing X DMG
|M| Make Haste - cross check your enemy with your staff, dealing X DMG stunning them for 3 seconds
|M| Sudden Onset - launch across the earth and whack an enemy, dealing (a reduced) X DMG, and applies a health regeneration to you or up to two allies for 15 seconds. The buff is consumed if you/ally get below 50% health and removes 1 negative effect.
Earth Puncture - Slam your staff into the ground, dealing X DMG to enemies around you (7 meter radius)
|M| Creeping Earth - Slam your staff into the ground, dealing (an increased) X DMG to enemies around you, and slowing them by 40% for 4 seconds
|M| Exhalation - Slam your staff into the ground, healing those around you (7 meter radius), you gain a synergy aura around you for 5 seconds, allies may use synergy to restore X stamina/magicka
Protective Blow - Deals X DMG, applying minor ward/resolve (7m radius)
|M| Blow of Redoubt - Deals X DMG, applying minor ward/resolve/protection (7m radius)
|M| Warding Blow - Deals X DMG, applying minor ward/resolve (7m radius) and applies a barrier to you or the lowest health ally around you up to 12 meters away, when the barrier is destroyed by DMG, it heals the target for X
Revitalize - Deals X DMG, granting Major Endurance for 5 seconds
|M| Replenish - Deals X DMG, granting Major Endurance and applies minor staminasteal for 5 seconds
|M| Rescue - Deals X DMG, granting Major Endurance and applies minor lifesteal for 5 seconds

Retribution |150u| - Your light attacks deal 40% more DMG for the next 8 seconds (Empower)
|M| Swift Retribution - Your light attacks deal 40% more DMG and you gain major expedition for the next 8 seconds
|M| Replenishing Retribution - Your light attacks deal 40% more DMG for the next 8 seconds, your light attacks heal you or an ally (up to 10 meters) for the DMG done (each swing)
