Murder and Heist to get an event ticket... nice :(

Wanderer_13
So what? To get a new Indrik I have to do murders and crimes? I understand that's just a game but I'm not that kind of people who enjoy doing crimes in games and I don't understand how a character who supposed to be a hero can do crimes so I didn't play these DLCs. And now the game force me to either play the way I don't like or buy event ticket for a real money.

How is that different from any other event?

So you don't usually kill mobs when you play or what?

Perhaps you could make a new character and roleplay a thief or assassin?

Just do what lots of other people do and roll a Nightblade for the stealth and make them a bad character willing to do crime. Keeps your Mary-Sue mains hands clean :)

Every single event (except crafting ones) requires murder to get event tickets. Daily? Go kill that thing. Dungeon? Go kill that thing. Dont even get me started on PvP. We are all mass murderers in Tamriel. Comes with the job description.

Just buy the tickets in the crown store, that's what they'd prefer you do.

No. You don't HAVE to do the murders and crimes, you can wait util and RP acceptable event for your character to get your tickets.

Actually the game doesn't force you to buy event tickets with real money nor does it force you to play in a style that you don't like. Be the hero that you were destined to be!

My 'good' character joined the TG and did just the first quests to open access to Heists last time we had this event. She found nothing troubling at all in either those first quests or the Heists. Kill bandits, take the loot they stole, return it - not much different than many many other quests throughout the game.

My point is that if you have not tried the ESO TG up to the point where you can do Heists, you might consider trying it and judging for yourself. Just for comparison, the same 'good' character walked away from Skyrim's TG as soon as she learned the details of their first quest (rough up an innocent shopkeeper I think).

There's always that one other MMO where everyone just sits in a circle holding hands.

Because that isn't boring at all.

    You should play there.

    Who said it is crime?

During the heist, they are all bad guys. Pirates and such.
The sacraments are also done with cultists and other not so nice guys.

It's just the same as going into a dungeon where you kill the boss. Who said that boss was evil? Maybe he lived in that dungeon trying to provide for his kids because of corrupt politics.

From the first step you set into ESO, you are an assassin. You kill people by the dozens for gold or reward.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Yes, how many innocent Daedra did you slaughter in the Wailing Prison? They were just minding their own business, doing what their boss told them to do.

I've been doing the sacraments for years. Oddly enough, the targets don't stay dead. They come back on different days. It's almost as if they're...not real people.

    Wait...

    Is this a video game?

Cry me a river. You don't have to anything. Black indrik is for evil people apparently. Also you will get a chance to catch up on tickets next event if you really can't stomach this cartoonish content. You get like 28 tickets per event and you only need 10 for a feather.

Also, there's already a quite fresh thread about that. No need for a new one.

You're not being forced to do anything.

Other events will come around, just as they have before, which do not require murder/theft.
