I have been playing this game since March and had not have the pleasure of going to one trial. I have tried joining guilds, I just get ignored so I leave and using chats. I have even waited by the gates. Lol Anyone have this problem? What does everyone do? All I want to do is a trial, especially sunspire.

Haven't exactly gotten to trial level gear, but I can try to group with you when my gear gets better. But, I also feel like it's hard to find a group in this game that isn't really judgmental about CP and gear.

A lot of runs seem to form up in Craglorn zone chat, you might have more luck there than outside Sunspire.

Not sure what is up with the guilds you joined or what you mean by you were ignored. There are plenty of guilds that are poorly lead but the leaders think they are good leaders because the roster is full.

You need to find an actual active guild. They should have regular runs with sign ups in Discord or a website. It also helps to pay attention to gchat for when someone is forming a random group.

If you are just posting in gchat that you want to do a trial and think you are being ignored because no one formed a group for you then you are mistaken. You need to work with their system and have some patience.

Thanks guys. I just finished my first trial run and it was so much fun. And yes I can see why people can be judgmental about gear and character stats. My character needs a lot of work because all or my moves and gear need we’re not made for this trial but I learned a lot from this experience. If anyone wants a trial run again please add me or I can add you. Thanks guys for sharing.

@Sega4life just keep at it. Hang out in Craglorn and run normal PUGs of the Craglorn 3 and Sunspire. Its the best way to fall into guilds that suit you. Most PUGs are run by guilds either recruiting, bridging the time gap between guild runs, or farming gear. You'll likely hear people talking about their guilds during runs. Ask them if they have spots. Friend request if you like them. Despite the horror stories you read here, most PUGs are friendly and the people in them are social. Besides, the ones that are jerks either aren't going to let you in their guild or you wouldn't want to join it anyway.

Check out sites like alcast and xynode for ideas on builds. They have meta builds as well as non-trials gear builds. You don't need the meta, but it does make things easier until you come into your own.

Glad you're enjoying it. I think trials are the best content in this game.
