ZOS "ignorance" / lack of communication

Lack of communication by far.

I'm not experiencing any performance issues to be personally concerned about, BUT I totally dislike their way of "communication". They have at least THREE English speaking community managers that we sometimes don't hear anything from them for days. Especially in bug fixing thread.

They should be the people that ALWAYS communicate with their audience, they are not moderators (they are doing their job alright), they should be giving us information back and forth about what's to come, informing the devs about hot issues and problems, etc. every day.

But instead, it's mostly just deafening silence. Except when something new is released or something new needs to be marketed.

Same as it's been for much of the history of the game -- performance in database operations such as guild store postings or guild bank deposits.

And oh I remember one time I complained about this in the bug fixing thread and tagged Gina in the post.

She responded (to my surprise), sort of apologized and I got the talk how devs actually read, even though they don't always respond etc.

She then replied and responded in at least 5 other bug fixing posts!

I was like - it's nice that you acknowledged someone tagged you, nice to see you immediately respond to other threads! This got my spirits high. But it was all in vain - the trend of silence continued to this day.

Couldn't you, community managers, do it on your own? Without anyone tagging any of you in any post? Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought that was their primary job - constantly informing their players and sourcing their precious bug reports to the devs.

I actually had a hard time picking 1 to vote on as they are all on my list of icky ESO things. I had to go with performance as it's the biggest issue at hand in my opinion.

I wanted to vote for lack of communication because its constant (and embarrassing ) for soooooo long

but...........

I didn't vote for performance issues as I wanted to vote for continually worsening performance issues.

Its not just loading screens but its more loading screens

Its not just slide show after wayshrining but longer and worse slide shows

Didn't get the voice disconnects before, do now

Didn't have half the trouble reliably firing of abilities that I do now

If its just machine resources cpu / memory / disk / bandwidth then that is mostly $$$ to fix but its relatively easy. If its crap game code then I'm depressed as probably too many bad decisions to easily turn things around.

All the above and I still want the game to be good and just let me enjoy it *sigh*

Crown crates and the guild trader system are my two biggest complaints with the game. Neither really prevents me from enjoying the game too much, they're just things that 8 find obnoxious as all hell.

@zos have you played cyrodiil on EU megaserver at primetime ? it's unplayable.

Just one thing. Only one. Sometimes my greatsword retains the skin of my destro staff when I switch weapons on my templar. Literally my only problem.

honestly, that's my only real gripe either...it's the only real gripe I've ever really had with the game...

balance has never really bugged me, because in pvp everyone can choose the same exact meta build if they like...

plus, I know I'm not a top tier player so squeezing every little bit of every stat isn'5 that critical to my enjoyment...

I'm just so tired of being constantly stuck in battle and unable to adjust my character's skills,quick slots, use my mount etc...

Performance has been deteriorating. Been seeing lots of the enemies teleporting bug. NPCs blink on and off when you approach. Had skills refuse to go off last night in Rivenspire. PC-NA.

God this weekend has been awful performance-wise, again. Just exclusively did 10-49 battlegrounds and the delays / lags were horrible. Oh and did somebody say weapon swap or skills not activating when clicked?

I believe it's a hugely missed opportunity if ZOS doesn't add vampire/hunter content in the near future. Give us a new strand of vampirism (Like vampire lord) or update the current skill line to be more than 2 abilities and an ultimate (Or leave it for those that like the "passive" play style) and give us a dawnguard/hunter faction. Also add in a vampire quest line, it's an absolute shame that after becoming a vampire you never do anything involving your char being a vampire again.

Lack of interesting new features / content

Loading screens are so annoying. I feel like half of the time I spend in game are just in load screens and no actual gameplay. By the time the thing loads often of times I just quit the game out of frustration.
