is there such a thing as a 2 handed ax?

megginsonjuan_ESO
I played as an orc in Skyrim, my main weapon was a two handed ax, second was the Mace of Molag Bal. Does this game have these types of weapons?

Two Handers (and One /Handers as well ) come in 3 varieties: Axes, Swords and Maces.

I got at 2h axe as a quest reward for finishing the main quest line of Betnikh.
Hircine loves me, this I know,
    Your intestines told me so.

No, because Daedric artifacts are supposed to be unique. So you might see a NPC with one, but you as a PC? No, Zenimax won't get into that tangle.

Sheogorath momentarily gives you ... the wabbajack! And then takes it away after he has you have some 'fun' with it.

It seems unlikely ZOS will give out daedric artifacts, like Azura's Star or Merhune's Razor out to player since they are are unique. However, these items are unique in the single player games.

However, It can be argued that you can get these items as boss drops in raids and such.

We are talking about Daedric princes after all. If Sheogorath was serious about his insanity, he would have made thousands of Wabbajacks and scattered them throughout Tamriel. Oh, the chaos! Oh, the madness! Oh, the fun!

Volendrung was unique as well and one of the MH guys was showing it off during beta. They're not above giving out unique items as Legendary/Mythical/Superdooperüber from that as an indicator. Granted, Volendrung was not a daedric artifact to the best of my knowledge, so maybe that's the tie breaker. ;)

Volendrung is a Daedric artifact since it's always associated with Malacath.

They're varying how players can acquire Daedric artifacts. For example, Volendrung is a rare drop off of the final bosses of the second tier of VR instanced dungeons, and Dawnbreaker is an ultimate. I just hope that the artifacts expressed as equippable items have some way of being scaled up later on, so that they don't lose value as the game expands vertically.

Perhaps as a result of his madness he could only make one. Who's to say he even knew how he it? Can you trust anything he says?

I think perhaps the Emperor in Cyrodiil should get a weapon but that is it. (I doubt I will ever be Emperor btw)

Perhaps they could add a system somewhat similar to Zariche/Akamanah in Lineage 2. For those that aren't farmiliar with that game.In a nutshell Zariche and Akamanah were two truly unique weapons (never more than 1 present) which had a very small drop chance and once you got it you only had it for a few hours or until you died. Then it would drop for someone else to pickup, or vanish to reappear later again. This was largly a PVP/PK feature but can be reworked to be a PVE feature.
