You mean like we did for almost five years without complaints before they decided to make Bosmer OP with Hunter's Eye?

Makes sense. Nerf Bosmer back to the olden days when they were just stealthy, instead of Cyrodiil SuperCops!

a non-bosmer player that is in stealth will receive a half-open eye warning before the bosmer player in stealth will when both are nearing each other. That means the non-bosmer will know when an enemy in stealth is nearby before the bosmer does

big old lol that the bosmer passive actively works against them

    WAIT WAIT WAIT.

I thought the Bosmer was BROKEN with the change to racial passives when they stole the enhanced sneak passive from the Bosmer and gave it to the Khajiit?

Would you people make up your flippin' minds?

This is kind of a joke thread. Someone observed in the other thread that the way to get something fixed is to point out that it is OP in PVP. The fact is detection is useless. It doesn't work right, and it makes no sense to have the super stealthy Khajiit and counter-stealthy Bosmer in the same alliance.

Bosmer ARE broken. Bosmer and Khajiit should both have a hiding bonus, which was how things have been for the past 5 years in ESO and for 15+ years in TES games.

This thread will get locked like several others have been and people will be referred to the existing 80 someodd page long thread.

D'argh. I completely missed the sarcasm. But to be fair, I haven't waded into the other thread since the first week it was created.
And if you're not fully up to date on the topic someone is mimicking, then it's really difficult to tell when people are mocking something given the level (and quality) of complaining that goes on ad nauseum around here.

    My bad.

Stealth is the most utterly broken mechanic in ESO so I'm glad. Time to race change all my characters to Bosmer.

Hey, you think we can let them fix lag issues before we worry about nerfing every thing?

i won't be surprised if all what zos really gonna change

in bosmer passives would be a 50% nerf to detect range :D

I think this guy works for them! This is probably right, they’ll nerf the detection range and the penetration bonus will be after TWO dodge rolls! I still can’t believe they had a development meeting and thought this passive made any sense.

Personally I'd rather have the sneak range buff like before, I really don't notice the increased detection range at all. Detect pots are a far better way to get those sneaks.

I appreciate this tongue in cheek, hoping they’ll reverse it for their pvp crowd who get everything they whine for, though I’m not sure Zos will get it.

They think solution to their problems is to do something like make 1h shields one time use. Also to make Breath of Life cost Telvar. Also to put a cast time on Combat Prayer.

It sounds like it’s unrelated but whenever there’s a pvp problem the solution is more cowbell more random pve nerfs.

Bosmer are just OP since the changes to racials and Imperial City. Before, you could sneak around there and gank people instead of doing any work yourself. But nowadays, everybody has a Bosmer in their team to detect attackers.

It's near impossible to even get into stealth as long as a Bosmer is in the district - completely broken.

Please, ZOS, end the Bosmer domination in Imperial City! Delete Hunter's Eye and give them back their stealth or whatever - but remove that broken ability!

Cyrodil also broken. AD is dominating every campaign due to OP Bosmer. They're like radar dishes on two legs. How are we supposed to group up before assaulting a keep when a single Bosmer break stealth in up to 100 yards distance?

Simple solution to that : give Bosmers their stealth back, as you suggest. I second that. It will make a lot of long time, PvE playing Bosmers happy. That passive you consider OP has no use in PvE anyway, so for me the new racial skill the Bosmers got is actually "3 free skill points". Not that I needed them, but hey, you get what you get.

The fun thing is that this passive was introduced to "fix" the issue of Bosmers dominating in Cyrodiil by being apparently too good at sniping. I see it worked so well...

@Uryel Taloros totally didn't come from the other thread, knowing full well that detection is garbage. This is a joke thread, because crying for pvp nerfs seems to get you somewhere while everything else gets ignored. It's okay, nobody is expected to keep up with the main thread every day :3
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

No nerf detection into reduction. Should be stealth radius reduction, free detection without slotting a skill is op. /s
