...then get told they are aware and investigating, nothing happens and customer closes the support ticket out of frustration, ticket problem solved good job, everything continues just like all is totally fine. I bet I'm not the only one with this experience.

So in my case they were not even aware.
When I started to play I was thinking that I stay for a long time in it... but eso+ is already canceled and it’s better to return to WoW then endure such performance issues.
