My god at the lag! This is ridiculous! Why is the game so laggy right now??

I upgraded to an xbox one x before Elsweyr came out and the difference was night and day in loading screens, enemies appearing, and frame rate. Now it's just an utter mess.
What the hell happened? Is anyone else experiencing this? Why is the game so laggy now? My health just got depleted literally half way by an invisible enemy on a zone quest, before he appeared. In a split second my health was 100% and then BAM 50%.
Is there anything you can do to stop this lag?

✭They should not have any other agenda atm. No housing, No Dungeons, No Quests ... NOTHING UNTIL they can get performance under control. Fixes by the end of the year? Seriously?
Its like a mechanic saying ok your car is running like crap I think I might get it fixed by the end of the year. Might be next year before I actually replace something however. Oh well I have some nice rims you might want to try I will be glad to put them on for you. Hey I have special on nice leather steering wheel. I will can get that put that on by the end of the week. Also I have this new paint that I have just gotten it. I can get that sprayed this afternoon. This is the spot we are in right now with this game. I think they are going in bad direction. ✭This the game on a saturday night.
My guild logs on to PVP.
I Q to log into PVP. I wait 35 minutes in the Q. In the meantime I go to the 7 day. Its dead, so I start farming. All the sudden my Q pops. I start to log into Cyrodil. I crash. I log back into the game, and Im no longer in Q. I go back into the Q for another 30 minutes. I get into Cyrodiil I port to my group at Nikel. I crash immediately. I try to log back into the game cant connect. Eventually I get ino Cyrodiil. 5 minutes later.
When I get there !
Latency is crazy high
Bars will not switch
Running on top of my mount
Stuck in sprint
Jabs do not hit anything
1 to 2 secound delays on anthing that has a cast timer.
This is what I experienced in the first 5 minutes in Cyrodiil

✭✭✭Just unsub. There's no sense in paying for a game you can't play. Go to MMORPG.COM and make a post about how ZOS has ignored fixing servers and adjusting lag (in both PVE and PVP)- but they've focused on crown store items.
More loot box garbage.Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

How many times have I seen comments like this? When dark brotherhood came out in 2016 ESO was literally unplayable on console. Zos made posts on the forum apologizing for how bad the game was:

And this was three years ago. And people still play this game, myself included. If the game is really getting to you, take a break. But don't kid yourself. ESO is going nowhere, not as long as the crown store is up and runningAugustusGray

I'm PC-NA and I've been having issues ever since the expansion launched, as have a lot of other people.7 -

✭It's kind of upsetting that they seem to care so little about fixing everything they broke with this expansion's release. I'm wishing I had waited before spending extra money on it, because as it stands I'm not giving them another dime until things are fixed.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Battlegrounds yesterday have been very nice, I think I’ve been killed four or five times by invisible Jabs. And the Health desynch... god. One second you’re at 100%, then you get stuck and two seconds later your basically dead.
Another nice thing happening yesterday, I couldn’t activate skills in the battleground. It just didn’t work. I was running away because of that, the enemy players were doing fine and I was just running because I couldn’t activate any f* skill. Guess what, when I was down to 5% life all of a sudden I could use skills again (after like 15 seconds of nothing) but oh damn, I was dead already but they game didn’t notice yet.PS5EUAldmeri Dominion- Khajiit Arcanist -0 -
