This event announcement is an error I presume. We already had this event in March.
The correct event is Midyear Mayhem and Orsinium.
Please give us the correct event. This event is garbage. You have an entire portion of the player base waiting for their event. Delaying it for a year is a big F U to that player base. Nobody wants this RP event that we had 3 months ago.

I like the faction lock fine, but I usually play in the 7 day campaign during Midyear Mayhem because I can't handle the 30 day lag.0 -

well that is fine unless the map does not look like on the screenshot. This is how the 7 days campaigns usually look like on xbox EU. Difficult to do dailies there, and no zergs around that could help you to gain access to a quest giving region.
On the 30 day standard campaigns you usually have at least 1 place like Bruma that is occupied by your own alliance.
Of course several questers now could start PVP battles to reconquer keep by keep, but I guess this tedious way is not what the average event-ticket quester expected...

I play on PC/NA on the CP campaigns, so my experience is going to be different, I'm sure!
How Midyear Mayhem usually shakes out is that the 30 day CP campaign is a competitive lagfest laggier than usual, so I swap over to the main 7-day campaign (faction unlocked) which is also a competitive lagfest but the performance is about the same as the 30 day campaign usually is. The other 7 day campaigns that ZOS boots up usually work out that one alliance controls most of the territory, but there are enough campaigns that each alliance sets up shop in one.
In other words, the main 7 day becomes competitive (like the 30 day usually is), and usually one of the newer 7 day campaigns hits the level of the regular 7 day campaigns. The rest are pretty dead like in your screenshot.
So at least on PC/NA, there is room for multifaction players to run around and play their other faction toons in a decently competitive environment.1 -

So...... knowing the state of it, knowing the event deadline and hopefully knowing their own code, they can't resolve this within six months?

It's becoming more and more clear that they are shifting ESO into maintenance mode while they redirect resources to their upcoming games. I mean, they're talking about rescheduling events many months down the road with no concrete dates, which essentially means out of sight, out of mind. Some of these bugs and code failures they have been promising to fix for years..... and yet, not only are they not fixed, but now they are modifying the game to accommodate the problems (reducing Cyrodiil population caps, cancelling events due to recurring and chronic issues, adding log-in queues, etc) rather than fixing the game to reasonable expectations. They make vague promises to make things better, but reality indicates that things are only getting worse.
Unfortunately, there is little competition in the MMORPG / PvP genre, so they are not pressured to improve the product. They are well aware that people will put up with a lot more when they have the only game in town. So it doesn't do much to protest, as there will always be people who can't wait to log into the game..... no matter how bad things get.

I won't earn any tickets with my stuck account again and I cannot even buy them from the crown store either, which I wouldn't obviously do anyways. This will be my 4th missed event since Wrathstone arrived, I wonder how many easy tickets I've missed by now. The responsibility and interest to refund any for me is absolutely zero for Zenimax.0 -

I have been emailing back and forth with the helpdesk and it drives me crazy why can't they have 1 person help you instead of all different ones because not all of them read through the messages and then they give an answer that doesn't help me at all plus they don't answer the question I asked in response of the answer of the person before that.
I am so pissed off. I am a active player with subscription and I spent a lot of money on this game. I buy a lot of crowns and crownstore stuff. So this is really not on.
Worse thing is they would not care if I quit this game because of the amount of new players they have recently.

This almost certainly won’t be the only Q3 event offered. For Q2 they were very clear that the Anniversary Event was the only event that quarter, since it was so long, and it gave more than enough tickets to buy each of the four berries. (In fact, it gave almost enough to buy all four berries plus a whole new Nascent, and that was still substantially less than a normal quarter’s worth of tickets.)
The total tickets available in this event are much more in line with the model of previous quarters, with one berry released per festival and four festivals spread out over the quarter. 28 tickets would be enough to cover the first Onyx berry, another feather towards a Nascent Indrik, and a few to spare in case you miss some days or want to stock up towards next event.
It would be nice if we could get a list of the planned Q3 events like we did with Q4 last year, especially since the plan has clearly changed.2 -

✭the black indrik looks ugly imho, just had a look at the preview yesterday.
It inherits the problem of all indriks, the very static movement. Far from the elegance of the senche leopard or a wolf (both almost "glide"), or the powerfull animation of the nightmare courser. In addition, the black skin is not beautiful, looked somehow "wet", like latex.
And the quests are the most uninteresting I have played during the last year.
As you solo them, you don't even have the often funny distraction of other players around, like during the newlife festival. So I will skip this event and focus on daily crafting/delve/worldboss/dragon. Don't even have enough time to finish all of those....Edited by markulrich1966 on July 1, 2019 12:52PM0 -

You wouldn't think this is a mature game considering the Disney esque toy store they're turned this whole franchise into.
