So there is a lot of talk about wearing particular monster sets for certain situations. Some fights require more movement so you wear monster set A then other fights tend to be more stationary you so it's best if you wear monster set B. So for the sake of newer players or even vet players that have just started to do trials would you please share your expert opinions and experience here .The reason for this post is that I only seem to experience fights with high movement mechanics.
If you could share what monster sets you use in the trials you do and the role you play also are you magicka or stamina. Thank you

vAS requires a lot of movement. No way you’re getting combat prayer there. Go with Slimecraw for Max DPS or Iceheart to make overlapping mechanics a little more forgiving.

Hmm, was expecting others to chime in. I guess I’ll add more:

vAA: Zaan for most bosses. Depending on pad luck on Storm Atro you may be better off in mixed crit or Ilambris. For Mage, if you’re not stacking the group then Slimecraw can be good.

vHRC: Zaan for everything. Maybe swap to something ranged for upstairs boss if you’re not comfortable avoiding impulses.

vSO: Zaan for everything, except maybe Manti if your group does a ranged strat.

vMoL: Zaan for everything, unless you are assigned a spot more than 8m away from Zhajassa.

vHoF: Zaan for raptors. For Pinnacle Zaan is possible if you can dance steam, but ranged options are safer. Zaan or Balorghs for burst on Custodian, triplets you can use most monster helms effectively (AoE or ST, melee or ranged, some static parts some movement). And for Assembly General definitely go with Zaan.

vCR: Zaan for upstairs DPS, Slimecraw for downstairs (portal group)

    vAS: Slimecraw as mentioned above.

vSS: Zaan doesn’t work on dragons, useless in this trial. Domihaus seems to have some use here, since the ring does a good job of finding dragon hitboxes. Other options are mixed crit or Ilambris. Downstairs group for Nahvii can use Slimecraw.

If you are stamina, Velidreth for everything. Only reason to not use Velidreth is if you have sustain problems, then use Stormfist.

Movement is a relative term. Basic trials with little to no movement on bosses: AA, HRC, SO. Everything else has movement, either by the boss, by you or both. For instance, in MOL, Rakkhat himself is "stationary" while you fight him, but you have to move from location to location as he moves around the clock face. But in HOF, almost everything is dynamic where the boss and player have to keep moving.

For newer players, run normals to figure out the mechanics. They are not much different on vet, just more powerful.
